I am having trouble getting to the page today I wanted to know if there is any progress towards a version that will run on my windows mobible Phone (MOTO Q) I downloaded his proof of concept version a month or so ago but I am hoping GPX sonar or someone is working on a similar product for my new phone

that's right some of the 79 coins we released last year traveled 1000s of miles and reach thier owners and some went missing in the very first cache I placed them in. I guess big advantage to buying one of these coins is if it goes missing it may very well be the cheapest GC.com trackable coin you ever lose, and of course there is the sense of adventure and the possiblity that it just might show up in a cache near you.

that is the catch... But if you want to purchase a GC.com trackable coin or tag to travel this is the cheapest way I know. Unless you want to spend 100s of dollar minting your own. In may of 2006 we launched the first Operation spreading Sunshine and we sold 79 coins

The big disadvantage to a 55 gallon film canister is where can you hide it? It is a cool idea to make one out of PVC, it would be much easier to hide. any idea what you could make the lid out of?

Is that the cost of blank nickels or were they made for you? I had always thought of poker chips as i used to spend lots of time playing poker. I even built my own poker table from scratch. Had always considered getting custom poker chips just never did. Most nice chips seem to be high dollar and others are just stickers on cheap chips. that was $150 printed and delivered I think they even gave us a Stamp with the design on it included in the price

got ours already even found the suprise on the back.. nice touch

wooden nickels are pretty affordable... Not nearly as cool as metal coins though We purchased 1,000 wooden nickels for $150 shipped I have also seen plastic poker type of chips made up but they are similar price to the cheaper metal tags

Hook up with a good designer.... browse sites like www.cointracking.com so you get an idea what people are doing... If you see some that you like consider trying to ask the coin owner who did the design..... A few of my coins, like my license plate, where completely my idea. I told my designer exactly what I wanted and he put it together. My favorite coin, the one I use for my advatar, was completely my designers idea. If you are good with photo shop or other programs you might be able to whip something out. But you really need a experience coin designer to tell you what will work on a coin and what will not

I purchased my first two Non trackable coins directly from a mint in Korea. My coin designer recommended the company and everything went smoothly. However since then my Designer has opened his own business and now will take care of the entire deal from start to finish. So the last few 4 coin editions that I have ordered have been through my coin designer. I Could have saved some money doing it on my own..... but was it worth the worries and liablity of something going wrong... I would say yes it was definately worth spending a bit more to know that if something goes wrong with the order it is not my problem. Honestly if your goal is to break even then why in the world would you want to take on the extra liability of doing it your self.

If it where to scale I would bet that would be a 750mm film canister..... Yes it is a barrel. I mean before it was transformed into a film canister
