  1. Thanks for the list Firefly03 - there are a lot more mystery coins than I realised.
  2. Thanks TeamEccs21 for sending the mission - I'm not sure if the coin is clear, but it is a red version of the green coin that kdnydnr received. The mission has been sent across the deep blue sea .... where will it land, who will it be
  3. This is fun seeing the different games being mentioned, some of which I haven't thought of for many years. I liked playing battleships and mastermind. Poker numbers are: 13, 20, 31, 42 and 50 Thanks for the cointest.
  4. WOW what a pleasant surprise we had in the mail. We thought we had missed out on participating in this mission, when what do you know, a package turns up with mission 1 and a great coin and pathtag inside So now we will have to do a little research and make the tough decision as to who should be the next recipient - eenie, meenie, minie, mo!
  5. We would love to show our part of the world off, and would be happy to be added to the list - looking forward to participating.
  6. Mission complete - although it will really continue as nothing is more important than saying "I love you" to those close to your heart. Thanks for the mission drneal.
  7. We don't get much info about the teams here, so my guess is: Women's: USA Men's: Sweden Sledge: Canada Thanks for the cointest kini_ont
  8. This sounds like a fantastic idea and would love to participate.
  9. Congratulations on a very handsome looking son. My guess is 7lb 9 oz
  10. Hope I am not too late to enter this cointest - my husband and I know how special it is to say I love you, just in case it is the last time you have the opportunity. It is also the last thing we say to our children before we hang up the phone. Darren has never figured out how I always seem to know if he hasn't come to kiss me and say he loves me before he leaves early for work when he thinks I am sound asleep. I may be asleep, but there is always that special feeling isn't there!
  11. Surely the public owns the road ... haven't they paid the taxes to build it after all
  12. Congratulations to the winners, and thank you anne.and.eli for the cointest.
  13. Looking back at what I had posted as georesolutions, I don't appear to have done too bad. 1. Find at least 500 caches - didn't quite find 500 but got pretty close (468). 2. Hold a cointest - yes, to find out how you all occupied yourselves when there was a fire in the building which houses the servers for GC. 3. Attend more geocaching events, meet new geocachers and make some new friends - yes, I attended 9 events and hosted the BrisVegas Meet & Greet for some international visitors - we ended up with at least 5 teams visiting from overseas. I also made some new friends through these events and have had a great time with them. 4. Improve my well rounded cacher profile by halving the remaining 23 of 81 diff/ter possibilities. I still have 17 combinations for find, but 14 of those have a difficulty of 4.5 or 5 but I am happy with this result.
  14. My new year resolutions will be to reach 2000 finds this year and spend more time with my family.
  15. I like to see custom icons for coins as not everyone in the caching community can afford to have large coin collections to look at. Custom icons provide a way for everyone to enjoy the beauty of geocoins. I probably look at the icons as often as the coins in my collection.
  16. My vote is for C as I like icons which look like the actual coin. After checking icons which appear on my trackables profile, I do not think it would be difficult to make out the detail - after all the icon will be 32x32, not the tiny speck appearing against the 3 choices.
  17. How is the witch going? Not snowed in hopefully
  18. I think the first coin is better as the second image is too busy. The reverse 3D idea is very interesting.
  19. Hi DeltaTreasureSalvage You may have better success if you place your request on http://forum.geocaching.com.au which has a section for international guests. Not very many Australian geocachers look at the forums here at geocaching.com If you do not have any success there, we will be travelling through Wangaratta on 27 December and again on 1 January so could help you out if all else fails. Regards Just a Trifle
  20. Unfortunately, I only had one grandma and she lived a very long way from me. I do remember how soft she felt when she hugged me on the few occassions we could visit and the smell of something special in her house. I'm sure all Grandmas feel soft and are special. Your Grandma was certainly special to you and she will always be in your heart.
  21. Email sent - I hope I will be lucky enough to receive some coins.
  22. Please excuse my ignorance, but exactly what would be entailed for hosting one of these events? Is it just a matter of listing an event where the activity is to view everyone's coin collections, maybe do some trading and discuss aspects of designing and minting coins?
  23. We wish you well with the impending birth - our guess is: 1) August 31 2) 9:30 am 3) 7lbs 10oz 4) 20.5 inches
  24. The report I saw indicated 3 people were missing in Maine after a rogue wave hit a cliff in a national park, sweeping 9 sightseers into the Atlantic Ocean. It was reported a small girl was among those saved - hopefully she is the 7 year old Robert referred to. Mother Nature is magnificent, but she can be really dangerous and should always be treated with respect. We hope that all our friends are safe and sound and not too many caches have been washed away.
