  1. Hi can anyone tell me if the SEND LATER option will return when logging a cache

It was so much easier as I could log the caches as found and upload the finds when I got home using the wifi - it doesn't seem to be on there at the moment, This was a great function while doing loops as I'm on a pay as you go phone

Please put this function back on as its eating up my credit

Also is it possible to view a list in map mode as on the old app, another great function as I could see which direction to head for straight away while doing loops (could just be me not knowing how to use the new app properly yet)

Still getting my head round the new app, some things are good some need improvement, some need disabling (don't like the your nearly at the cache feature, if your gps is off you could be quite a way away)

  3. Got it now, thanks for the help

Click on any cache description, scroll down, on the left hand side, look for

    For online maps...

    Then click on

    Geocaching.com Map

Then you get the old map!

  4. Thanks for replying

All I get is the following

    404 - File Not Found

    Search for geocaches:

  5. Hi

Don't know if this has already been asked/answered but

When I search for caches in a 50km radius, it shows 1000 of 13000 caches, how do I get the map to show all 13000 caches

Ive tried scrolling down the page but the map still only shows 1000

Is there a way to show all the caches in the radius on the map at the same time, so I can find loops to do???

    Thanks, smithysteve

  6. Hi,

I use the android app and have been very pleased with it for ages

Just recently tho when I use the advanced search I nearly always get 'Failed to connect to Geocaching.com' I've used this function many times before to search for loops without any problem

I even searched today for a loop I had just finished, that I had stored in my offline list, and got the same result

Is this an update problem that others have encountered?

Please help this is very frustrating!!

  7. I was thinking about getting the Magellan eXplorist GC as its made specifically for Geo caching, have watched a lot of videos on it but cant seem to find the answer to a couple of questions...

1)Can you see the maps as if in satellite view so I can see fields, rivers, roads etc or is just like a street view so when your in the middle of nowhere there's just a line, can use this on my phone but kills the battery quickly, and I find this a very useful feature for planning routes

2)How easy is it to load caches onto it, I like doing loops and like to plan the route before I leave on paper and save the caches to the offline lists on my phone, can I load a cache loop route on or is it just the caches

3)Has anyone got one, would you buy it again or something else after using it

Any other info you think would be helpful, would be helpful

    Thanks Steve
