  1. Yep, also one of the games I wasted my money on as a kid. No idea to their names though. I played it a while ago on MAME.
  2. 6 Caches archived last week. 3 Events, and 3 Traditionals
  3. 64? Wow. What time did you start and finish? And in which area? And that after caching in all the areas so far.
  4. Congrats cincol on 500!
  5. Gerhard: Book the 4 of us for the Saturday night at the top. I confirmed with everyone in our "group". Group consists of: Brian, Jorst, Anton and Trish. Sonsoeker: I am sure as a very last resort, someone will not mind to squeeze a little on the way to the top. So go with the fly to Durban plan. However something will come up I am sure. It always does, as there are usually some cachers who decide at the last moment to go.
  6. Oh... I see someone got it. Ignore me. Ill get back into my corner.
  7. After my answer I went and googled it... WOW! Surprise Surprise. Maybe a hint? Rot 13 [Jr unir nyy frra gurz, ohg abg nyy pna frr gurz]
  8. I know SIRF is some type of GPSr chip maker. Is SIRDS an update to this?
  9. Ok. ill give it a shot: She is near Sabi, on the long tom pass.
  10. If the night sky is so starry, we must get the times the ISS will travel over, and maybe we can few it.
  11. Or an icon of each cache type, and the planted (includes archived) number the amount of caches of that type in South Africa. Would this appeal the geocachers not in South Africa? What would appeal to them?
  12. I think it would be better to have a seperate 10 Year coin. The focus of the 10 year coin is different as to those of the provinces. That said, it might be a good idea to shelve the 9 province geocoins, and concentrate the 10 year anniversary coin. What should be on the coin? Maybe some stats? 2001 - 0 Finds to 2011 - 500 000 Finds Or something which shows how geocaching has grown in South Africa.
  13. 3 Caches archived in the last week. 2 Events and 1 Traditional.
  14. I will bring my Banner with, and a video camera. More details when we get there. I will even update the ZA to LS (Oh shucks will need to check the 2 digit code for Lesotho). We are also planning to go the the "R5.00 or More Store" and buy some pens and books, as well as candles. We will bring old clothes and shoes if we have any. Something we as geocachers can give back. (Great idea Gerhard!). I have an old mountain bike somewhere. Maybe I could do the return trip on that? (not!)
  15. I once played "Cricket" with cop cars. Every cop car not wearing a seatbelt, got a run, each cop car who was wearing a seatbelt went out. After about a year I stopped, and it was around 370 for 10. 4 to 6 of the 10 was in PE during our December holidays. The cops seem more prone to wear seatbelts there then any other area.
  16. Does anybody have skis ? or anything like skis? (snowboard?) I have two power kites which I want to bring along, and try out on the snow. A big 6 meter kite, which one can only use in very light winds, and a smaller Nasa Wing, which is slow to fly and handle but can be used in stronger winds.
  17. I thought the following might be nice (but must be in context of a province) 1) The small 5 (had an internet search, and no longer like it) 2) Have a frog somewhere. I saw a coin belonging to Wildbirds of one of the USA states. There they had more then 3 icons depicting various items for that state. Nothing stopping us from doing the same....
  18. Another though: Since we are the "rainbow nation", and we are all about "helping", the different colours on each block could also denote that. And the "puzzle piece" (the round loop) could be made in a shape a hand (if size allows)
  19. The only cache we have don in PTA that looks remotely like that picture is: Catch My Breath
  20. Any one else from Gauteng who would like to drive down and share costs? I would like to meet the other pioneers of this hobby/sport/game.
  21. I saw the Tazz. Stitching gone wrong? I also saw if you right click on the page, one can enable 3D view.
  22. My wife and I will travel with Glider Slider. I was under the impression from the beginning we would be spending one night in Lesotho. Was this not the plan Gerhard? Must say I am really starting to get existed for this trip. And I see there is a Tonteldoos cache in Howick as well. Maybe we can do that one on the way back...
  23. Depending on how finances are, I might want to drive down for that event. A very good alternative would be at the cache that Jors found.
  24. We watch the Orange 11 + coach come home on BVN (Dutch Channel on DSTV). WOW! What a hero's welcome they all received. I think it was Snijder who said to all their fans, that Spain might have won, but the Dutch have the best fans. I might be a little biased here, so please forgive me, but looking at the orange in stadium, I agree with him. I heard that the coach and captain received the equivalent of knighthood from the (Dutch) queen.
  25. Cool. I tend to like the idea of a 3x3 blocks to make all the provinces. I'll explore both, and post pictures once i have something.
