Well, it took me 330 miles, 5.5 hours of driving, and getting lost once when my onboard gps died. But... I got to the cache site easily, found the cache with no problem. I opened the top of the cache...No geocoinfairy coin. So I figure hey, another red state for my map and another cache found. I took the logbook out and a little fairy flew from between the pages of the logbook right into my hand! So, i took the #038 Geocoinfairy coin, and left an unactivated Redtailfalconer coin. Thanks geocoin fairy. Now I only wish I cound find a way to get my jeep some better gas mileage.

Well, it seems the geocoin fairy has dropped a coin in a cache a few days ago. Nobody has logged the cache since. Im just setting out for the 310 mile round trip to see if its there. It might be crazy, but Im always up for roadtrips!!

I got a coin the other day that had that sticker on it. At least they sealed it up good. I guess its getting around the holidays so more inspections are happening. No ticks yet in New York

They are still coming up as "Grandfathered Caches" and I can't seem to find them in the drop down menu of placing a cache. Im just curious, are these approved and published on a per cache basis?

You might want to bleep out those tracking numbers. They look pretty good though.

I have one called the Geocoin Bank-GCXWNY. It works good sometimes to keep coins in, but most of the time a geocoin is traded out for other items. I didn't want this to be a geocoin prison though. I can say there may or may not be geocoins in it right now since I just got my personal coin made . It's never been muggled either!

Antique Silver may go with the design quite nicely.

I am not sure of the rules either, and I as well no not want to publicly bash a fellow cacher regardless. I did receive an email back from this person saying they are sorry I feel this way. Apparently my coin, as well as others are financing a laptop for him. I guess we can't let one bad apple ruin the generosity of most cachers, and spoil the game for the rest of us.

I have been very happy with the geocoins...until today... A cacher said they liked my coin, but could not afford it. So, I sent them a coin free of charge. I paid for shipping, everything. As soon as this person recieved it, it went right on ebay. It really makes me question why I would try to be nice and do something for somebody else. --Redtailfalconer
