Have a couple questions to ask, what is the south park looking on toward the botton right lower corner? We really like it. The two Arches toward the top was that the Event geocoin? They are so beautiful. And one more question, who sold the Sunray geocoin? You sure got alot of nice loot. OOh and before we forget Congrads on being preggers with a baby, That is great news The south park looking coin is a non-trackable GCF 2009 friendship coin from Lyonden_ut, also on the coin are Jentlelyon, Big_Ron, Loridarlin and the Cache-A-Teers. Lyonden_ut was handimg them out to folks at the event. We were one of the lucky ones to get one from him! The two arches toward the top are not the official GCF coin, but are the GCF coin from Compass coins there is a night and day version. The "sunray" coins are the Tribal Sun coins from Zelanzy, as he already stated. Thanks for the congrats!

They are from Compass Coins and are Native American Totems and are absolutely GORGEOUS! I think they are my new favorites...

Just wanted to thank the organizers and volunteers for putting on a great event! We arrived at the event at 11:30 Saturday as I had to work that morning. We were having so much fun meeting people and trading/buying coins before we knew it it was after 4! We left the event with alot of coins and good memories. Had to stop around the corner and grab some dinner (the pregnant girl was starving... and so was I) before heading home. Would love to go to next years, but we will have a brand new baby, so odds are uncertain. Hopefully we can make 2011. Thanks again to the event organizers and volunteers, and thank you to everyone who stopped and traded and chatted with us! It was wonderful to put faces (and hugs!) to the online names, and everyone was just as wonderful in person as we had imagined. Zelanzy adds a good point, but I would caution that you need to be *very* careful about trying to apply parody or fair use to a commercial endeavor. Trying to use this principal against a company that is known for aggressively pursuing infringment claims would be something you should only consider after speaking in depth with a well trained lawyer!! "The first fair use factor, the purpose and character of use of the original copyrighted work, evaluates the new work by taking into consideration the following criteria: (1) Has the new work been created for commercial or noncommercial purposes? Although not every commercial use is presumptively an unfair use, and therefore conclusively determinative against fair use, this criterion emphasizes a preference that fair use will be granted to those works that are created for noncommercial or educational purposes rather than for commercial purposes. " You may be better served, as previous posters have mentioned, to try to change some details of your design so that it has enough differences to be considered 'original'. Good luck!

We see auctions of our coins with errors all the time! Sometimes its as small as saying a coin is Bronze instead of Antique Gold, sometimes its saying a coin that is currently in stock and SE is a "VHTF Sold Out XLE" there has even been a listing for one of our coins in a two-tone finish that was never minted! (Not sure how they're going to manage that one) Unfortunately there is no easy way to police Ebay. Some sellers are legit some are people just out to make a buck any way they can. We email the seller on the really bad listings, but as others have mentioned it doesn't do anything to change the listing... Saddly it just boils down to buyer beware!

What will the start times be for these sales? The newsletter sale will start at 9 am MST Friday and the general public sale (if any coins are still left!) will open at 7 am MST on Saturday.

I hope so, we're playing in the road and haven't been able to match our time with yours. We have already placed and order for 50 more and will open up the sale on a weekend day to give more people a chance at them. Also planning to open up sales a day earlier for newsletter subscribers again! (eta- MST is one hour later than PST and two hours earlier than East Coast, so if youre in OR and its 8 for you its 9 for me)
