  1. Tooey, Enjoy!! I hope my other mission gets there on time... It has a bit further to go. I'm really glad you like it!! OverTheEdge I just tried taking photographs, but they came out rubbish with the flash, will have to wait for some daylight tomorrow, I have them all sitting in front of me and I've been eating candy Thanks again
  2. Decided to really get stuck into the housework today, then the mailvan arrives, Over The Edge truly went over the edge - what a fantastic Easter Package I have just opened. I've been feeling a little left out no Sunshine Mission, no St Patricks Day mission and until just now no Easter Mission - but here it is, a truly lovely jubbly, yummy jelly belly package. I had been wondering what those Peeps were too, now I know. I will post pics of the coins later - they deserve their own post, fantastic - even one with a Ducky on it THANK YOU SO MUCH - You have really made my day.
  3. Gggrrrr I've clicked just about everywhere I could click and I can't find it either. Tsun is such as tease, but I am sure she is having fun with this, so don't give the game away, we WILL keep trying.
  4. Woo hooo Geo.Error - I missed this, how did I miss this? Congratulations - this will go nicely with your GeoBug, or should I say the Bug will go nicely with the Geocaching Jedi, I am so pleased for you, having read all your postings - and those of Gatoulis trying to determine Mrs Zath's next cache I reckoned you both deserved a coin for shear determination if nothing else. Congratulations to all recent recipients of this coin. May the force be with you all.
  5. It's really irrelevant - even if the coin has instructions in it's mission statement, they are rarely adhered to. Folk don't bother to read them, or they ignore them if they do. You either just let em go and wish for the best or if you can't bare the thought of losing keep em at home.
  6. The "Stop Lurking and Introduce Yourself" thread has been very enjoyable to read. It has caused me to want to learn more about the folks who frequent this part of the forum, e.g. the addicts among us. So please take a few minutes to answer these harmless questions: 1. What is your name (caching name is fine), location, age, and occupation. Jan, Scotland, 53, retired systems analyst 2. What was the first geocoin you ever held in your hand? Scotland coin, just acquired one by trade 3. Approximately how many coins to you currently own? Far too many ! 4. Approximately how many coins have you released into caches? And how many are still active? 18 released, 16 active 5. Have you ever minted a coin? If so - how many? If not - skip to question 6 No - but I have one in mind to do 6. What is your favorite color? Blue 7. What is your favorite food? Chinese 8. What are some of your favorite songs/musicians/groups? Can never remember song titles, musicians or groups but I know what I like when I hear it. 9. What hobbies do you do aside from caching and drooling over coins? Cooking, Swimming, Yoga, Cycling 10. Your general life philosophy can be stated as: This is not a rehearsal, make each day count.
  7. Oh Geo.error I am so happy for you - and those pictures - couldn't you have made them a bit bigger I don't think anyone is in any doubt about how excited you were to receive this coin, congratulations to you and to all other recipients of this lovely bug.
  8. Oh poop - I'm too late as usual, thanks for the cointest and congrats to the winner
  9. There is a tiny weeny mouse in there somewhere
  10. 1. Participating - yes 2. Nick/destination received - yes 3. Outgoing coin released - yes, adopted and dropped into a cache 4. Incoming coin on its way Thanks Vanelle for my gift TB24G8V looking forward to seeing the silliness this coin collects along the way. ThirstyMick's coin TB1M5JZ is finally on it's way - happy travelling.
  11. I agree - these coins look great, but I have no idea what MOGA is - I guess it is some kind of event, I shall go and search now for it, only out of interest you understand - there is no way I could get to it. But I do like shiny gold coins so if anyone wants to get one and trade, my lists are kind of hit and miss with being updated, but I am usually good at removing stuff I no longer have.
  12. I kind of like 'Fuzzy' Bears - love the coin. I vote for the Bears Head for the icon, fuzzy or not
  13. I feel that this cointest is worthy of nomination. Give me your 10 Cents was a joy to read, an original cointest with a message about the important work done by March of the Dimes.
  14. Can't you just look for the e-mail in your deleated mail or old mail file? Nope, hotmail deletes the "sent" messages... Hummm Looks like you have an even bigger problem than i thought.... You could try posting in the UK section of the forums.
  15. 1. Participating YES 2. Received Name YES 3. Mission Complete YES 4. Mission Arrived! Nothing yet Same story as with the Secret Leprachuan mission, my mission was mailed out on the 29th February and nothing has been posted to say it has arrived. Normally packages take between 5 to 7 working days from UK to USA.
  16. 1. Participating YES 2. Received Name YES 3. Mission Complete YES 4. Mission Arrived! Nothing yet More worrying is the fact that my mission was mailed out on the 29th February and nothing has been posted to say it has arrived. Normally packages take between 5 to 7 working days from UK to USA.
  17. Yes I think mine went missing On a more serious note, that is such a shame, is it possible they are just 'delayed' somewhere?
  18. Priceless !! Congratulations to all recent recipients.
  19. I know it is extra work for the mission organisers, but I think it would be really helpful if there was some kind of feedback that could be sent, this information could be shared by those organising missions. You can leave feedback on ebay - I think this could discourage those that are less giving ! I have had some brilliant missions and one that 'just' met the criteria - i.e. two trackable coins in an envelope - you might expect that from someone who hasn't 'missioned' before but not from someone who appears to participate in every one. It is not in the spirit of these missions - and it ought to be discouraged, even though we are meant to be 'not disappointed with two coins in a mailer' - it's not as bad as not receiving anything.
  20. Oh my goodness - that is gorgeous. That surely is a must have coin for me, I'll take several in all finishes, invoice me next year
