Hi, Lots of people have done my Below Above caches and many have appreciated the shields and displayed them in their profiles. Originally the images were stored on Photobucket and with Photobucket changing it's policy of charging all users, this has meant that the images became unavailable and the cache pages and profiles just showed a black picture and Photobucket's link. As of today all the current Below Above shields are back and working as well is the profile links. For finders wishing to display the shields again please feel free. Just open your public profile, edit, delete all previous shield links and replace with the new links. For those who found the Box quarry caches which are now archived please message me and I'll reply with the links requested. I apologise for the disturbance and work required to rectify this but it was completely out of my hands. Regards JM&L

BareClawz can no longer explain, his account is being deactivated at his request. There is a lot more to this than he mentioned and I have seen some of it. I've also seen the stress it has placed on him and as he had major heart surgery 8 months ago the treatment and allegations he received from these people was unwarranted and I can understand why he has left. He only wanted them to leave him alone, but the nice side the public sees is far different to the side I've seen. My connection has been to become his friend and support him when I could, part of that has been adopting the Below Above series, lending him my laptop when his pc failed and being there for him. His only involvement now is helping me come up with new ideas and discussing ways of expanding and improving on what he started. Some of those plans will be heard on the next Podcast show when he and I are interviewed and discuss the history, current situation and plans. I don't totally agree with him starting this thread but I hope I can understand why he did. From my point of view, I don't wish to be drawn any further into this and I just want to carry on geocaching and continuing to enjoy it as much as I am now as a geocacher and custodian of the Below Above series. The cache planned has a theme and a planned route so sadly Estonia was too far away. So far Greece, Germany, Netherlands and UK are involved. There are two countries we'd like involved which are Austria and Belgium. There has been a huge amount of interest in this project and the cache owners involved have masses off enthusiasm. So if you are in Austria or Belgium and would like to fill these gaps and get involved please message me. JestersMagpie

Hi All, I was in contact recently with a cacher in Greece and a friendship has grown out of that meeting. As we are both puzzle cache fans he suggested we thought about creating a cache that requires a clue from another country. This idea grew and we are trying to create a string of caches across Europe that cachers seeking to find the cache will need to contact another cacher and get them to get the clue from a country next to them. The cache pages will be an unknown and preferably a high D/T. The ones in Greece and UK will certainly be 5/5. So far we have Greece, Germany and UK. We'd like to add Belgium, Austria, Hungary, and maybe Cyprus. There is the start of a cache page and a storyline to give authenticity to the reason for the series. I'm still having trouble with this, so I'll give a few more details of what I need help with. The object is to create a IF game that as it's played will give parts of the route and map sections. The game will b written using the Quest program available from textadventures.co.uk and is written using prompts and ends up in aslx format. Most can be written using the screen which does the coding for you. It's parts that set boolean attributes I'm having problems with. I'm hoping someone out there has either some experience with this or is willing to help me and between us we can create the game to set this Below Above up. Thanks

Hi, I'm trying to create a new Below Above and had an idea, but I need some assistance with somebody familiar with .asl or .aslx and boolean attributes. I have some experience with html which is helping, but some of the bits I need some extra help. The shields are all the same size and it's just the words and image that change for each Below Above. I've even done three for the archived ones so if people want them I can email them the link. Three examples; I had a bit of feedback in that they were a bit big, so they've been resized and reloaded. Apologies to anyone who downloaded them last night. They'll need to change the link. Sorry

Been adopted. Three of the original Above Below were lost and the two Earth Caches. But with BareClawz help the three were replaced and we believe improved. The two earth caches have been allowed even though clones of the originals and now there is a new one being added in October. The shields are at the request of several cachers at a meet and this time there won't be any copyright claims out of the blue. Jester

I have sent team tisri a private message to reassure them it's definitely not for commercial reasons. Having had a play today I have created an example of what I'm after. I think it will explain everything. As the new owner of the Below Above series I was asked if I could bring back the rosettes. They can't return in the form they were, copyright issues, which led to their deletion. But in an alternative design they might. This is just a trial version and as I don't have Photobucket myself BareClawz uploaded it for me and sent me the link.

Hi, I need some help from somebody who's competent with Photoshop or a similar program to do some artwork for me please. What's needed are about 14 items, similar in size and design to, for example the 31 days of geocaching souvenirs. Thanks Jester
