If this reads one of the developers, return the original NM logging option and don't change this system, please.
Or at least ask for an explanation of NM logos separately.
Why?
I'm Owner - If it comes NM log to email with log "This geocacher reported that there is a problem with this cache." I must go to web and find what happened. Previously I know it from log NM.
I'm Cacher - If I visited more caches I log it for long time (from PC) (I don't write only TFTC from mobil in terrain). That if I wait with NM log to my FI log - log NM can come for many days since my visit. But the NM log itself I wrote earlier, with old system... In new system it is not possible.
If you would like do it better, you may leave link to NM / NA log in logging page, but please in second step - Let people fill the NM/NA log. And leave possibility post NM/NA log separately. This is my point of view.

I agree with Pontiac_CZ and other.
Even on my 24" display it can not display on one screen, unless I set the "zoom level" to 90%.
Optimize it for small mobile-phones display, please! No graphics! Most important information first!
Make data size smaller!
I have a solution that will work for some people.
I do not understand why I have to use complicated procedures, that in a few months will not work, because the GS again changes the structure of email.
I would like to undo the sending of logs without HTML, as it once did. E-mails were small, clear.
If someone wants graphics logs, let us the choice whether we want it or not! Simply option on notification if we would like log as plain text or in HTML. Is this so much ???

What do you like most about challenge caches?
- It is condition, which makes me to overcome the obstacle.
What do you not like about challenge caches?
- I can't filter this cache.

- permissions of challenge, where is conditions about hiding the caches (I don't like point 7 of http://support.Groundspeak.com/index.php?pg=kb.page&id=206)
- allow challenge as "BONUS" caches on series of caches (visiting all of a series of caches you can log FI on BONUS Cache).
If you could describe your favorite challenge cache type, what would it be?
- It's challenge about visiting caches on specific area (such as in our country http://coord.info/GC2T0G1 or http://coord.info/GC2MYAB)
- Challenge about visiting caches with a certain topic (about - visit 10 hills higher than 1000 m with cache (as http://coord.info/GC2JV9Q) or for example challenge visit cache near 20 castles, or 20 caves etc.
What types of challenge caches do you avoid?
- Challenge about statistics (Matrix, find min. 1 cache / day, found all day in calendar, 3000 per year, 500 per day, etc.)

I do not understand, why you don't improve existing messaging with new features used in the new center.
The new system has the additional benefit:
- Autocompletion Nick, whom I want to write
- Sending pictures
- Autocomplete links to TB, GC or geokeše
- Backup of messages sent and received, if sent to the GS.
But you can upgrade existing systems without any problems with these things and for many people the process will be far more beneficial than new "message center".
Do not take our ability to use email to normal communicate! I do not want for each message lengthy to log in to the geocaching.com to use system like "facebook"!
For user only applications surely goes in the email link to answer them in their account at geocaching.com!

And for server geocaching.com it's higher load (when for answer we have to go to server), when now (in last week) it goes so slowly...
4) I would like send notifications of all answers, not only about some messages (after half hour)
5) I send message to anybody - then I turn out message centrum. When somewhere aswer to me, before half hour - then email don't come to me, and icon in the corner on geocaching.com does not indicate that the message came from. It's bad, because I don't know, than somebody answers me.
How long will be messages on server? And how can we find something between messages? Will be some finding tools? When I will after year look for something... Between my mail I can find by text long time ago...
If I have the option to send me a message (and copy of my sent messages) to my mail and I will be able to answer the mail, it will be great. But else I please to choice to blocked to send me messages from this message centrum. I want to have all message from GC on one place (in my mail).

I'm geocacher from 2006.
Maps on geocaching.com I use only as last option. If I can, I use map on GeoGet or GeoKuk, because they can filter on-line (type cache, D/T and so on...) can display all WP and can filter.
Maps from Geocaching.com
- aren't photo map with sufficient resolution for BM (as google map or mapy.cz in the Czech Republic or another server in another countries). Setting googlemaps is difficult. Why it isn't on list of maps?
- aren't turistic maps (there aren't turistic signs and cycloturistic sign). There aren't map for planing turist hike.
- You have many maps, but many aren't applicable for geocaching.
- Big failure is for me and many years, that some caches cannot open from maps (I mostly use google Chrome, but I think, that it is in Mozilla Firefox and IE too) - If I place cursor over symbol of cache, does not appear window with name of cache. It's terrible!
- I can't see here archived found cache as on my off-line programs.
Only one good thing is, that on maps on Geocaching.com is 100% actually data.
From maps I use:
- Google Maps-photo
- OpenStreetMap Default
I often use cache details pop-up window.
There I often look on: Cache name with link, GC Code, Owner name with link, Hidden date, Difficulty and Terrain ratings, Cache size, Favorite points, Log Visit
Rarely I use Bookmark it, I don't use "send to GPS"

Existing Community Requests:
Indication of corrected coordinates/solved puzzles - I don't use corrected coordinates, that I don't need it, but for another cachers it can be usefull.

- These two thinks may be usefull.
For favorite point I like view % of FP, no total count of FP. Cache with 100 found it logs and 80 FP can be more better, then cache with 5000 found it logs and 200 FP.

- It's interesting ideas. For me I would like on logs one links to view all logs on one page (for looking logs of another geocachers and first logs, it was in history, now I must go to end of page and wait to load a few log and repeat this manytimes)

No. Only some in statistics.

Informations about cachers, statistics, important informations about them or for solutions of mystery cache.

Profile:
- Avatar image - Old system was better.
- Find count - It's OK
- Trackables logged count- It's OK
- Send message to e-mail - It's very important! But It's very bad, that I can't send e-mail to some cachers, who isn't verified (they gathered TB or cache and so on, have found-it log, but we can't contact them).
- 'Member since:' - it's interesting.
- Status of account (Premium, Lackey, etc…)- it's interesting.
~ Link to give gift membership - I'didn't use this.
- Location - it's interesting.
- Last visit to website - it's important for maintenance of caches and so on. But I saw, that somebody has found it logs with newer date then last visits and its strange. This information may be about last activity in Geocaching.

The team felt that the benefits of releasing without that change outweighed the negatives of waiting another week, A-Team.
What benefits? What horrors we have to wait?
We can definitely re-assess the subject lines and content format based on feedback (only a fraction of which comes from the forums, by the way).
I am curious where that greater percentage of feedback comes from.
I see min. 90% people is dissatisfied with this changes. On our region forum is similar!
Where you have peoples, who are satisfied? Where are your feedback???

Add me to the list of those who want "Plain text / NO HTML" in emails.
A few comments...
First, I personally don't mind the html email myself, since the content is nicely formatted
Second, the subject lines are a step down, to various degrees, that I've seen so far.
* the prepended tag was VERY useful ([GEO], [LOG], etc)
* the most important pieces of information should come first, and ideally the subject should not be very natural-language
* the subject line can quickly get far too long; as with others, my email program cuts off the subject line (or there's limited realestate to display it) so key bits of information are not visible
Old: [LOG] Owner: username found cachename (cachetype)
New: Owner Notification: cachename (gccode)
New is both less informational and less ordered. Including the GC code is good though. Big step down.
Suggestion: [LOG] Owner: username found cachename (gccode)
Old: [GEO] Notify: reviewername published cachename
New: New cachetype: cachename (gccode), distance/bearing
Not as bad. Less wordy, more information. No tag though and (as above) doesn't standard out as much.
(minor) Suggestion: [GEO] New cachetype: cachename (gccode) distance/bearing
Old: [LOG] Watchlist: username logtype phrase cachename (eg: Username couldn't find cachename)
New: Watchlist Notification: cachename (gccode) has a new logtype log from username
Old way was much more terse and readable. "Notification" again is extraneous and wordy.
Suggestion: [LOG] Watchlist: logtype posted to cachename (gccode) by username
Not sure if the contact email subject has changed, since I've received a couple with HTML formatting, but still with the old subject line...

Please don't change this!
I haven't received other email types yet since the change.
I also parse the email contact with my own code, but in that case html can actually make things easier, so I don't mind more text, and more predictable structure to email contact templates. Helpful.
Thirdly, with regards to images, I don't believe there are any significant images embedded in the emails - the geocaching logo and a few social icons. But I haven't scoured the email source yet. So I don't really have any criticism about the visual design - it's light, simple, organized, flat imagery and solid colours. All good.
That said, forcing email on all users does seem odd. Most websites have the option for text-only and html, not because text-only is "old", but because there are many practical benefits to plaintext messages over markup that requires a formatting process to be intuitively understandable. =/
Lastly, with this new feature, a rather small one compared to some others, while it would have been a little bit more work, having HTML emails as an opt-in feature would have been much better, imo. I know the intent is that it would be a universal site update, but having it opt-in means that people who want HTML email can get them, critique it (without utter distaste for the change, as usual
), and not have active processes break from the unexpected change to expected content... Then once the feature is honed to a satisfactory degree, and everyone is aware or made aware that it will be rolled out for everyone, roll it out for everyone.

This change may be good, if this mail was without HTML - only plain text!!!

Whoa. As of a half hour or so ago I'm getting bizarrely formatted notifications with the same sort of email Subject:
"Bookmark Notification: Gorilla Stash (GC1B) has a new Found it log from Behold The Turtle"
"Watchlist Notification: A Tribute to Glenn (GCWAG5) has a new Found it log from Strike One"
"Watchlist Notification: Broken Arrow (GC19E76) has a new Found it log from wynnsisters"
The formatting of these notifications is driving my mailbox nuts. Any way to receive good old unformatted notifications, like "So and So found ThisCache"?

New mails are horrible.
It is hard to read and you have to redo the filters in emails.
Please immediately reverse the changes.
Most of the changes here is the worse!
Old mail has about 2,5 kB. New mail has about 15 kB big!!! It's terrible!

Possible variant from "thebruce0" is better, but old icons is the best.
Why don't you prefer to correct errors and does not improve the promotion of languages and other subjects to improve ...

When I look at it in great detail, so for me:
+ The new look does not come bad, I can get used to it (to put some more +)
+ TB / GC - in the old one you have to click on each and select from the list; for the new one you just have to expand the list and then just click it is probably faster.
+ Adding photos
+ Blocking double FI logs
- Photo can be add only without a description
- I can Add only one photo (another I must add by old system)
- No formatting
- There is no preview of log with formatting, but it is unnecessary without formatting. While formatting is working, it's a question of whether this is the forerunner of a complete cancellation of log formatting.
- For old logging, it was much better to see links to the author and the name of the cache (+ clearly see the type of cache). Now I don't see, there are links!
- There is no option to encrypt the log
- Editing the log goes into the old look (even with the formatting of the logs - quite odd)
- THE BIGGEST problem I see for myself as the owner of several caches to change the concept of NM and NA logs linked to FI logos, as I have already written here. The NM and the NA log itself do not solve anything, everything is in the "original" FI log, where the original writer does not even have to say anything about it because he thinks he just wrote the NM flag. And then there are problems with monitoring NM and NA logs that can not be written separately, etc. If I have watchlist only on NM or NA logs, now I must go to the web and find FI / WN log, which may be with another date. + - It has not changed: The option to add to favorites was already in the original logging - so here improvements in graphics only.
