  1. Good on you RWD - a great cause. I fully support funding activities that helps youth grow, learn all manner of skills and experience life, ultimately helping them better themselves, etc, etc. Well done.
  2. Included in my latest (VERY) regular Castle Coins & Pins order
  3. Nice... will be waiting paitently (or not) to see more information on these...
  4. Just a note to say... Seriously nice coin!
  5. Spend a few days away from the forums and this is what you miss!! I commend you for making such a well purposed GeoTag!
  6. Nice design. Will be looking out for it.
  7. I happened to be browsing the presales page as they were being put up... each time I refreshed the page there were more and more coins on there!!! Timing was excellant - for once. Order some of each. Does anyone know who the artist is?
  8. Coin BUDGET? I really need to get one of these....*sigh* FX. Where can we get these geocoin budgets? Well actually - thats half the problem... no real budget.... just the knowledge that I've spent way too much and that at some stage I have to account for that The other half of the problem is that too many people are producing coins that are just way too nice!!! Really, just can't win!!
  9. I like things about both the main "pay" sites - there are some things that Coin Tracking does better, and some things that GeoCoinCollection does better. In the whole I like GeoCoinCollection a lot more than Coin Tracking, but I find some quirks with then, expecially when you have multiple windows open - such as if you are trying to look at one of your own lists and someone elses at the same time. It always seems to get itself confused and starts displaying the other persons coins in your list, and silly things like that.
  10. Nice looking coins - I so want to send an email, but I am so over my coin budget... Will have to have a think about it...

WOW - congrats to the winners!
  12. You have yourself a great time - don't tire yourself out too much... as it must be a whirlwind adventure. Enjoy!!
  13. With a coin shaped like that you won't get stuck with a huge number of unsold coins. In fact I'd say, as long as they weren't over priced, you'll have a huge winner on your hands!!! Maybe you could get them minted and then see if one of the existing vendors would handle just the sales for you - that way you retain absolute and total control. Good luck.
  14. Even if the original die set is used, I suspect they are long paid for - the cost over how ever many coins were made in the first run would have amounted to very little per coin I suspect - in the order of maybe 10 cents per coin? (Stab in the dark). It would be nice to have it recognized, but at that price per coin I doubt it is worth it. Maybe all those involved in the second round could send all us from the first found a coin?
  15. Are you going with an actual photograph on the coin, or will it be art work/design?
  16. Wow, these look really cool. Email sent.
  17. A GeoTag is trackable on Geocaching just like a Geocoin and are 1.25in in diameter. PathTags all have a common number for all that are made in a specific design and only can be tracked on the PathTag site and are just a tad smaller then a inch in diameter. Trolly Tokens have no numbering and not trackable and are just a tad smaller then a inch in diameter. Then there is a CacheTag these are sequentialy numbered and not trackable as well and are just a tad smaller then a inch in diameter as well. Hope that helps some , Glenn Agreed - I don't see them as anything other than a micro geocoin. Sure they all have the same back on them, but then don't also a number of the mints/geocoin vendors offer some standard backs for full size geocoins. Whats the difference. GeoTags are definitely not a PathTag, they are a micro geocoin.
  18. I've finally got my Geo-Jellies photographed. I have a number of the glitter and 2-tone Kiwi Fruit flavor Geo-Jellies to trade. Anyone interested in a trade, please contact me craig.elms@gmail.com. keewee
  19. OK, here's the photo of my keewee 2007 GeoTag: The tag has: - my caching name and home town/country on it's rim; - the background is the colours of GC set behind a raise outline of New Zealand; - the point where the 4 colours meet is the location of Ashburton (there is also a recessed dot at that point); - in the yellow quarter is the Southern Cross and my home coordinates; - in the orange quarter is my geocaching logo; - crossing between the blue and orange is the date I started geocaching; - and finally the little blob (not visible in the photo) sitting on the horizontal line between the green and orange is the Chatham Island, which is where my Grandfather was born (a special place that I'd love to visit one day). I have a number of tags in nickel to trade, and a handful in bronze. Anyone interested in a trade, please contact me craig.elms@gmail.com.
