At least Markwell is finally embracing his fate of Markwelling every thread on this board. That aside, I think that Jeremy and Groundspeak have done a wonderful job with Geocaching.com , you'll not hear one complaint from me, well, until the site is down for a couple days and I run out of printed cache pages, then you will =P

Don't even get me started on the dangers of a common household Altoids can.

I'm trying to decide whether this is a joke or for real.

Thanks for the suggestions everyone. I'll try and hit all of the caches that have been mentioned. I actually already had the Seven Tubs cache on my list to hit already due to someone mentioning to make sure and try to get some of the caches that Rich placed out there. Looking forward to me trip!

I disapprove of this kind of behavior. I would make it a multi-cache with the first stage in a legal area and only allow one log instead of two.
lol... I agree with cachew_nut...

So I'm taking a little trip up to PA on the 19th to visit a friend of mine up there for a couple days. I'm flying into Philly and driving up to Wilkes Barre. Right now I'm already planning on stopping at the cache in Centralia on the way up (The city that is burning under itself), but I'm wondering if there are any other caches along the way or in the Wilkes Barre area that anyone would specifically recommend that I should do. Thanks for any tips.

Here Here! I agree completely, GPS units are a major distraction to hiking! Even more so, they are a nusance to National Parks! People are using them in National Parks to go off trail and see beautiful places that aren't SUPPOSE TO BE ACCESSED by MAN! I call for a ban on all GPS devices in national parks!

You know, you can always paint your ammo cans bright red and purple, unless you're too cheap to buy Spray Paint!

I move for MrSnazz to be banned from the forums. He has shown himself to be a bad person in general. Further more, I move that people must be charter members to be able to even post on the forums! Yeah! On top of that, you should have to pay $5/thread for read privilages to these forums. FURTHER MORE, You should have to send in all responses to thread topics to Groundspeak in writing within 72 hours of posting for verification or your response should be deleted!

Nice work! I hope that you are able to sell at this price, as I know how much work goes into such things and they are definately worth it, for that alone. I'd buy one but unfortunately I am addicted to my collapsable trekking staff .
Good luck with the venture,

We weren't talking about a fleece vest umc, we were talking about something like a photographer's vest, with lots o' pockets in it, for geocaching reasons...
Doug

One question, does that wrist strap (Primarily interested in the bolt with the D-loop on it) come with it? If not, where did you buy it? If you made it yourself, want to sell one to me?
Doug

I completely agree with dboggny, I'd love to have a nice trecking vest with pockets and what not, even if it did have the geocaching.com logo on it =P.
Doug
Edit: Oh, I forgot, I voted no, I'm not interested in a $12 camera that plasters geocaching.com to the bottom of each photo.

Send it back to Magellan, They have an excellent track record on replacing defective units in a timely manner.

Don't forget to also head out and remove her illegally placed cache in the middle of the Toiyabe National Forest (Funny how she hasn't removed that one, which is SMACK DAB in the middle of the NF). I've actually emailed her twice concerning whether or not she is going to remove it and she has ignored me. The thing that disgusts me about ski1pin is her inability to follow her own rules and ideology when it comes to her own caches, she's just a big hypocrite.

As I said earlier, I use the CamelBak Rim Runner that REI sells that has 1728CU of Storage Space with the 100oz Bladder in it and a 100oz Omega Bladder that comes with it (This differs from the one on CamelBak's Site). umc up there still swears that the Rim Runner can't really hold anything. Well, Here is a picture of everything that fits nicely into my Rim Runner (With extra room for Food), also note that I also carry my GPS, Climbing Harness, Biners INSIDE the Pack with all of this stuff PLUS a length of rope strapped to the back of it (All this not shown in the picture). And it all fits nicely in there. This is an excellent pack that I've never had a single problem with, and you can't beat the $85 price tag.

I think that you should talk him out removing it from circulation. You can get a class IIIa laser pointer at any arcade or dollar store or whatever. Due to size and cost reasons, I seriously doubt a Class IIIb laser would be on that TB.

My favorite Cache so far is Clothing Optional. It's a little out of the way to get to, but it's definately worth it, the hot springs that are down the hill from it are amazing.
Another great cache is Cedar Creek Falls, again, a little out of the way, but an awesome area.
Good luck and looking forward to see what you come up with.

If you intend for people to light the candles in the area of the caches, insure that the area is not a fire hazard.
