  1. I'm going to be away from home for a bit. Please don't send it to me unless I'm the last one. I'll make another post once I'm at home again.
  2. I have a few South Carolina 10-10-10 event coins for trade. I'm looking for 10-10-10 event coins from Oregon, Perth, Hartford CT, Sweden, Emerald Coast FL, Fayetteville NC, Hawaii, and Santa Cruz, CA. I'm willing to buy if you don't want to trade.
  3. This is taking longer than I thought it would. Hopefully M2 shows up.

  5. Here's a puzzle for someone to figure out. The owner won't give you any hints. He won't even say how close the coordinates are if you send him the ones you came up with. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...99-97dd09e24d53 I'd be going to the 10th anniversary event for that cache if I didn't have to be at work.
  6. I was searching for geocoins when I found this. <link removed by moderator> I would not consider these family friendly. Hopefully all cachers will realize this. What would you do if you found one of these in a cache? I'd contact the owner to send it back.
  7. I just ran across this... I would put this on the DO NOT attach to travel bug list. <not so family friendly link removed by moderator> Moderator Note: The link was for some plastic anatomical body parts that someone is selling ebay as geocaching travelers. But you have to supply the tracking number with a Sharpie pen. Bogus, and not Groundspeak approved.
  8. My info has been updated and shouldn't change for a few years.
  9. I just found out about this feature today. I had to a forum search after noticing seeing "The owner hasn't set their collectible preference" on the pages for my geocoins. This feature is nice since it will allow you keep your travelers off the inventory list. I like to move mine for mileage though. That is a pain with 200+ coins. It would be nice to log each coin without having to remove them one at a time. Here's my idea. Sorry if it has been posted already. For traditional, multi, unknown, etc. caches: Have one box below the "encrypt log" box that allows you to "dip" your collection. That will allow you to add the mileage to the coins all at once. For events you could add two boxes: One to drop off the collection when you select "will attend" or "write note." The other could be something along the lines of "remove collection." That way your collection will show up in the inventory. You might be able to use the option with other cache types too. That is if the software will support this method. Select both boxes when you log that you found the cache. That way it will "dip" your collection without any additional work.
  10. I vote to have the program open-sourced, integrated into GC.com or supported by the user too. It is one of, if not the easiest and most detailed cache stat programs out there. I like how each state/country changed colors as you found more caches. Thank for all the work you put into it. I hope to see it continued.
  11. I'm suprised there are quite a few left on each list. Glad to see both are still going though. My address will be changing again soon. BTW, this is Ford Freak. I've change my caching name since getting in on this.
  12. The last one - geocacher joined, found cache, took TB and disappeared all in the same day. Odd, eh? That's the thing that really irritates me about that one. I have a strange feeling that person still goes around caching under a different name.
  13. I've had this issue with some of mine. It's been almost a year since another cacher has taken one of my coins. Something you might want to try is to see if another cacher in the area knows that cacher. He/she might be able to get them to drop it or get the coin for you. Here's some of mine that have been in the hands of another cacher for a while. http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=2041601 http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=1118812 http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=1471970 I've contacted all of them with no luck.
  14. I hope these are for sale soon. I need to place an order with geoswag for some other stuff too.
  15. I just ordered 1 two-tone and 2 coinaments. Can't wait to get them since I missed out on last years. I'm still hunting for a silver or two-tone.
  16. I forgot about this one. http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php...t&p=4112200
  17. I forgot to let you know I got mine. Thanks very much. I don't remember what the date was on the envelope. It came on the 9th though.
  18. Here's mine. http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.aspx?id=2273457
  19. Glad to see you got the LE set this time. I wasted no time ordering mine once I saw they were for sale.
  20. Have you been to Kaiserslautern lately? I was in that area a few times. Did you ever go to Hanau? My step-dad was active Army in the early to mid 70's. I know he was at Hanau from 73 to 76. He came over to visit me in 06 so we drove over to Hanau. He did recognize some of the area and base.
  21. I've been a jet engine mechanic in the USAF since Jan. 99. I am going to be retraining starting Nov. 30th though. My new job is called "cyber transport systems." In simple terms, I'll maintain the base computer and comm networks. I have worked on 7 different aircraft since I joined: KC-135R/T C-5A/B - some with the upgraded avionics C-17 C-141 - Not much here since they are gone. A-10C HH-60G C-130 Assignments include Fairchild AFB, WA, Rhein-Main AB, Germany, Spangdahlem AB, Germany and Moody AFB, GA. I've been deployed once. That deployment took me to UAE with a stop in England each way. I've been TDY to the following places: Edwards AFB, CA Dover AFB, DE Charleston AFB, SC Cincinnati, OH Ramstein AB, Germany I'd like to thank all those that have served before me. I'd also like to thank those that currently put themselves in harm's way. Thanks for the cointest. Hopefully there will be more responses.
