Geocaching has given my family and I something that we can all do together and enjoy. I'm a gadget freak, so I love using the GPS, downloading waypoints, google earth, etc. I've recently been turned on to geocoins and I"m finding that quite addictive. My wife likes the hide-and-seek aspect of geocaching and some of the interesting hides and containers. My kids both like the trading of swag and the geocoins. They are definitely unused, as I opened the sealed bag myself. I rescued them from hitting the trash in our recent inventory!

I think they are for freezing tissue, protein or serum samples, although I could be wrong. Other tubes like this do not have the gasket, and I don't think the gasket would hold up to liquid nitrogen. They are all new, so no fear of contamination.

I thought this was an interesting puzzle cache. Solving the puzzle gets you the correct coordinates, or you can just search for all 5. GC12T2C

I found a bag of these while cleaning out the other day. I am willing to share if anyone is interested. Sorry that the photo isn't clearer, but my autofocus just wouldn't cooperate. I don't have any stickers or micro logs to offer, just the container. The top has a rubber gasket that should keep things dry.
