- The condition, which makes me strive to overcome the obstacle
- It encourages more articulate/better logging, which in its turn is encouraging for COs
What do you not like about challenge caches?
- No way to filter
- The fuzzy rules on logging: note/no note... and which date
- sometimes they encourage bookeeping and a become a race of numbers more than geocaching and adventure
What would you like to see changed about challenge caches?
- add an atribut of challenge or make it a form of global virtual souverniers or make it another cache type. Of these I believe the souvernir option is he best.
- in order to place a challenge CO should fulfill the criteria
- for complex challenges a checker should be incorporated
- a way of avoiding challenge saturation for an area (like for earth caches)
- a guide for setting the d/t-rating... I find it wrong that a challenge requiering 5 t5-caches have t=5 when it's reachable from a wheelchair...
- I'd prefer challenge trails not to be permitted ...
If you could describe your favorite challenge cache type, what would it be?
- Bingo types which can be fulfilled different ways
- Generally the ones that you can work towards over a length of time, but you do NOT have to exclusively plan for in a certain number of days
- Challenge about visiting caches with a certain topic (about - visit 10 hills higher than 1000 m with cache or for example challenge visit cache near 20 castles, or 20 caves etc.
- Lonelys - since they encourage cachers to visit forgotten ones
What types of challenge caches do you avoid?
- If I qualify I generally log. But I don't like the pyramide ones or generally those that "force" me to do cercain caches a certain number of days in a row.
