[My missing trackable found now after 6 years. How to make it available again?]

Forgive my ignorance but I failed to find any guide lines about what to do when my trackable, which I marked as missing in 2016, was discovered again a couple of days ago. I would love to see it listed in my trackable inventory. Will this happen automaticly, what do I know?

[How to now if GLONASS is working?]

I have Samsung Note 2 which also supports GLONASS. I have installed two free apps, "GPS Status & Toolbox" and "AndroiTS GPS Test Free" and both can show you GPS and GLONASS satellites. You could test with one of them/or both.

 

Further there is web site, GNSS Planning Online where you can see the routes of the satellites of both systems GLONASS in red, GPS in green). It all depends where you live. I live in Finland and surely benefit from the GLONASS satellites as they cover northern part of the world better. On that page, below the world map on right there is a slider. Move it left to right to see routes during 24h. You better enter the coordinates of your home to see the benefit of GLONASS in your case.
