First of all, I am in law enforcement. I have found several cachers and it is fun to talk to them. I also cache. My partner and I got stopped by the good officers of Pocatello, Idaho, because we looked lost. We knew we were in Pocatello, we just couldn't find our way across that stream. LOST!!! Never. Confused, yes. We explained what we were up to and he was underwhelmed. He showed us a 500 dollar gps he uses to measure his speed while skiing. Thought we had too much time on our hands. MY time, spend it like I want to.

I like having a way to quickly show me how my friends and fellow area cachers are doing. It is also fun to keep up with others met during trips to different areas. I would be willing to do whatever I could to support a stats page.

Congrats on passing the test. I use findu.com ans aprs.net. Both work well.

You can't go wrong with either of the Kenwood TMD700a or the THD7AG. I use both and you only need a gps unit and cable. I was also told by a techy from Kenwood that they work best with a, cough, cough, Garmin.
Don't let my backside get above my head. When it stops it is going to hurt.
