  2. Which coins did you trade for? Some may be a good deal, others may not. Was the coin activated already?
  3. inOhYesI'mIN! 1. Participating ... and no matter what the mrs says, I wanna do the growed up mission.
  4. I don't deserve it because it's IMPOSSIBLE for a people plumber (aka urologist) to "keep it appropriate" and still have a crying chance of winning. IF I WERE to win (which is so highly improbable that it's laughable) The coin's mission would be to make it into a cache that is made from a vital piece of equipment for a urologist... CMETOP or CMETOPTOO.
  5. Happiest Birthday MoopAlong!! Seems there was a treasure ship on its way back to port. About halfway there, it was approached by a pirate, skull and crossbones waving in the breeze! "Captain, captain, what do we do?" asked the first mate. "First mate," said the captain, "go to my cabin, open my sea chest, and bring me my red shirt." The first mate did so. Wearing his bright red shirt, the captain exhorted his crew to fight. So inspiring was he, in fact, that the pirate ship was repelled without casualties. A few days later, the ship was again approached, this time by two pirate sloops! "Captain, captain, what should we do?" "First mate, bring me my red shirt!" The crew, emboldened by their fearless captain, fought heroically, and managed to defeat both boarding parties, though they took many casualties. That night, the survivors had a great celebration. The first mate asked the captain the secret of his bright red shirt. "It's simple, first mate. If I am wounded, the blood does not show, and the crew continues to fight without fear." A week passed, and they were nearing their home port, when suddenly the lookout cried that ten ships of the enemy's armada were approaching! "Captain, captain, we're in terrible trouble, what do we do?" The first mate looked expectantly at the miracle worker. Pale with fear, the captain commanded, "First mate.... bring me my brown pants!"
  6. How SWEET it IS!!! Any chance that a version for non-attendees to purchase? I hope so.
  7. Love it! will this be a trade only or will you be taking reservations to allow one to purchase this fine looking coin?
  8. crudbuckets. finally escaped my abduction to China (it IS another world over there) only to find the ordering started and stopped during my absence. ah well... win some, miss some...
  9. uhhh, Sal, as the owner of this cache and dropper of this coin, I'd like to offer you my thanks for moving this coin along so quickly... I'd also like to offer you a ***FREE*** visit to my clinic for some obviously much needed instruction on the proper way hold such a geocache container
  10. I do believe you have some incredibly magnificent cowabunga karma. Please post a pic if you can (or email it to me and I'll post it)
  11. I'd recommend that you get a sample in black nickel with shiny gold lettering... that may be a killer combo.
  12. I love this! just a couple thoughts: this will be magnificent in shiny gold. I think 3D with the stone tablet look with the lettering engraved would be cooler... antique finish on the tablet with shiny gold letters. Use Hebrew numerals rather than Roman numerals (I can pretty well guarantee that IF the original commandments were numbered that it was certainly NOT with Roman numerals ) I can't wait for this one to be available!
  13. Now this is a fab idea! I can't wait to see how it goes. After this one is done, I may just have to mint some special Kuntry Kashin coins and see how many outhouses in this big ol' world of ours can get photographed! you don't mind copy cats too much do ya'? I will most certainly want to volunteer for this one... but won't be able to do so until I get back from China the end of July (with all the coins I'm taking over there, my bag is liable to tip way over 50#!)
  14. I agree with Droo... without seeing the coin, it's gonna be tough to make a really good suggestion. My personal likes are for antique copper and antique gold... then again there are some magnificent shiny gold and silver ones out there. In general, if you have 3D work, then the antique finishes really make the 3D "POP"... Main thing is that you produce something that you like. Personally, I like it when folks post their artwork, revised artwork, samples, revised samples... it's just cool to know a bit of the history of the coin. It seems that what folks do not like is to pay for a coin and then not get the coin for a month or two. so... I hope we've all convinced you to post some art oh, one more thing: take it from the PeoplePlumber: size matters... just not as much as most would lead you to believe... I've seen some folks do some pretty amazing things with micros
  15. ...BRAIN-FRY... Thank goodness for intelligent sons! There is no way this ol' plumber would have been able to solve some of these without the help of picAtune... THANKS SON!
  16. 1. Participating: you betcha! 2. Received Name: just now! ahhh yesssss! now the fun begins... what coins to send??? 3. Mission Sent 4. Birthday Arrived
  17. again, I ask for a 3D map of Middle Earth on the back. Kidna like Oshndoc's antarctic coin. Maybe put the quote around the coin EDGE. No matter what, I have a feeling I'm going to be layin' out some coin for some coin!
  18. Mauison, you're right about it not being a geocoin. But it is still way cool! I thought all the original geocoins (BC with the Killer Whale) were silver, not gold. Perhaps some were minted in gold?
  19. if this is the one you're talking about, it looks like it's still available HERE
  20. way way way way cooooooooooool
