  1. That's good to know. Now I can sleep peacefully again Sorry about posting in the wrong forums.
  2. I understand your point, however I don't agree with it. When you "discover" a trackable, for me it means you have seen it for the first time, and so you are logging it as a "find" (even though it's not a geocache, of course). However, I get that you can twist the meaning of "discover" and allow yourself to "discover" the same TB multiple times. I'm OK with that (double-logging a cache is much worse ). Still, I think it would be useful that the system issued a warning when you are trying to re-discover a TB. I don't feel comfortable with acceidentally logging the same TB twice. Anyway, nobody has answered my question yet: if you discover a trackable that you had already discovered, does your "trackables number" go up?
  3. That's a nice exception to double-logging a cache thanks for sharing!
  4. For me, yes, it is a problem: it is like double-logging the same cache. I mean, how can you discover something that you had already discovered? I mean, it's not that I cannot sleep because of this, but it would be nice to know whether the double-discovery counts towards the total number of TB/GC. And my suggestion would be to implement a simple warning when you are trying to re-discover the same TB/GC, that wouldn't hurt.
  5. Hello. I was wondering whether the system is "protected" against discovering two or more times the same TB/GC. I mean, once you have logged like 500 TBs you most likely don't remember them all, and if you attend an event where there are tens of TBs to register, the odds are that you accidentally try to discover a TB that you had already seen. If that's the case: does it count towards the number of TB/GC discovered? I also think the system should display a warning. Thank you. 6. I've read a few things about Ryan air that would make me reluctant to choose them as a carrier. A few years ago I was looking at some all-inclusive vacation that included air fare that were listed by a vacation broker. When I was looking at some of the reviews I saw numerous warnings about the broker using Ryan air after finding out that the carrier had maximum luggage weight of 22 pounds (or you pay a lot extra). I've also read that their agents are paid a bonus for catching passengers with oversized carry on baggage. Although I've yet to use them I've looked at EasyJet for connections within Europe to reduce the overall cost of a trip. For example, I found that flying r/t on a major carrier from NY to Barcelona, then using EasyJet to get to Rome as much less expensive than using the major carrier for all of the flights. Do you have any experience with EasyJet? Ouch, don't you dare to tell me not to travel with Ryanair I've travelled more than 100 times with them! And never had any single problem. You only have to be aware that they set a maximum width&height for your luggage, and a maximum wheight. If you are within the limits, you will have no problem; if you are over, you have to pay 50 euro (which only happened to me once, and in the beggining because I was silly and unconscious ). Besides this, it's a very good airline, very punctual, good service and really, really cheap (easyjet and others are also very good, but not as cheap). Furthermore I'm lucky to have a Ryanair airport very close to home, and thanks to this I've been able to visit half Europe and lots of countries. EasyJet is very good to, totally recommended. If you have any further questions I might help. I may not be good at lots of things, but I do lots of travel and know many things about airpots&airlines of Europe
  7. Pues espero que te escuchen. No me gusta nada compartir estado con gente como tú. Vaya tela...
  8. Just booked two trips to Mexico (february) and Turkey (april) plus already visited countries (Germany, march and UK, August). For the first half of the year those are my planned trips, altough I just read that Ryanair is opening a new route from my city, Girona, to Tallin, Estonia... I might give it a try So far 11 countries visited! My real GC profile is http://www.geocaching.com/profile/?guid=ba32380a-7243-487c-8d2e-5f6ea72e4e4a
  9. Once we attempted a 3-mistery night route with reflectors (three consecutive caches). We found the first one but had 2 DNFs afterwards. The whole route wasn't longer than 400 metres. The next day we went back during daylight and we were unable to walk more than 30 meters, we couldn't see any reflectors!
  10. I think that happens to all of us it's such a pity, but also an excuse to come back to those countries! According to my stats, this year I have geocached in seven new countries (Serbia -in fact, Kosovo-, Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Netherlands, UK and Switzerland) which added to the previous ones (Spain, France, USA and Poland) adds up to 11 countries. Can't complain When Catalonia becomes and independent country I will have 12! Plans for next year include reaching 20 countries... we will see (my real Geocaching username is Arnàutil, but it won't let me post in the forums because of the "à"...) Wow, that's a lot of traveling you did this year. Will Catalonia become an independent country? If so then there's only the question of when it will be implemented here  Just look at the mess with the Dutch Antilles and a few other countries Same than Scotland :-) but looks like there is a stronger majority in favour of the secession here. ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Catalan_independence ) anyway here is not the place to discuss that... but it would be funny to have one country added without any effort
