My one year old 60CSx recently started doing the same thing. At first I attributed it simply to low battery power so I put in a fresh set but it was still having the problem. Did a hard reset and so far it seems to have solved the problem.

Anyone found this yet? Main menu > setup > system > press menu button > card info

I believe the x actually stands for eXpandable memory.

Happy ending for me now as well. After a brief conversation with the resubmission department, they have agreed to issue my rebate.

I know I should have made a copy of everything and usually do. I guess in my post-holidays stupor I got lazy. At least I ended up getting about $100 more for my old 60C than I thought I would on ebay! I 've been a Garmin customer for 8 years and annoying rebate experience aside, I still think they're the best in the business.

The same thing happened to me but they said my rebate was invalid because of a missing UPC code! I know the envelope was sealed and everything was in order so I too was quite fustrated.
