  1. does any one know of any web sites that have color aerial photos. I know terraServer has black & white aerial photos that show lat & long . I am having trouble finding a place that I ran across wail hunting and yes I had my gps but the batterys where died. I thought I may be able to pin the spot down a little better with some color in the photo

  2. I fund my first two cashs last weekend. my Gps was set on WGS84 and the position was on hddd mm ss.s why do most cashers use the hddd mm mm . I changed my gps to hddd mm mm to set the lat & long and then changed my gps back to hddd mm ss.s and had no trouble at all finding the cash box. what is the differents in the two setting icon_confused.gif? is one better to use then the other icon_confused.gif?

I like to use the hddd mm ss.s because the topo map web site that I have been using to find lakes with uses it and I have fund every lake I have looked for including small ponds 5 to 10 in Dia.

any answers ? I just did not want to switch back and forth if I didn't need to. icon_confused.gif

  4. I have a garmin summit, my brother has a plan yellow basic garmin etrex it runs from $99 to $120 and it works just as good as my garmin etex summit I bought it for $ 249 they both are very accurate but they do loss the signal in thick trees as some one in another post was saying. I have had my summit for 1 1/2 years so I am still kind of a green horn at this but getting better
