The approver and a link to his email are listed on every cache page, bottom left.
All of the stooges post to the forums and most of them will make snide comments like eric's above.
If the admin group posts personal comments like eric, what could possibly be considered off topic?

Carleen's experience is a parallel to my own.
Homosexual's are not aggressive unless you are perceived as a potential partner.
Once it is clear than sex is not an option they back off and become timid. Unless they are drunk.

Groundspeak has deleted my full face photo from my profile.
I received an email from Hydee indicating that my full face photo was considered offensive.
I have appealed to Hydee to reconsider groundspeaks decision.

No, I don't get it. The more you explain the murkier your argument becomes.
The reality is that many male homosexuals are in the closet and many live dual lifestyles married to women. Discreetion is paramout.
Homosexual men have taken over public areas in many cases in their efforts to satisfy their sexual needs in a covert setting.

I don't understand why Jomarac insists that the issue of homosexuality is not related to this thread.
There is a sexual stigma associated with public rest stops and some public parks. The sexual stigma is not associated with heterosexual activity.

I am not sure what the reference is here.
My comments have been directed at the admin group and their approach taken to enforce their own policies.
If a cacher attempts to support the policies, admin either does nothing or they over react and crap in everyone's mess kit.
I would like to see more consitancy as many of the other cachers have commented. I certainly don't appreciate the admin group placing the blame on the messenger.
I would like to see this hobby run more like a business instead of being a business run like a hobby.

Based upon the comments in the thread below it is reasonable to conclude that delays in approvals may be based upon the personal bias of the approver.

A lot of the newer caches are right next to the parking lot. Hiking is becoming less and less a part of geocaching.

Tennessee Geocacher, thanks for approving all my caches. You still owe me an apology for calling me a liar. I have made it a point to keep all my emails after I found out you tend to lose them.
My complaints to contact@geocaching.com went unanswered of course, but I still have copies of the emails.

This is one example of when the term 'homophobia' is appropriate.
Mature heterosexuals who are secure in their sexuality do not suffer these delusions. I have been called homophobic many times, because I find homosexuality repugnant. Homosexuals don't scare me!!! The fact that I find homosexual behavior objectionable does not make me homophobic. I have argued in the past that homophobia is a myth, but obvously some people are actually afraid of homos.

I can't believe you would even admit to it. I consider homosexuals to be perverts, but in every situation that I have encountered homosexuals making unwanted advances they backed off when I made it clear I was not interested.

Well I never received a reply to my email. I did not get a reply to my previous email either.
I got blasted in the forums for using the forum to voice a complaint and not using the 'contact' email.
Well I can agree that the forums are not the best place to resolve an issue, but there is no other option.
