  1. I would reply to the topic if I knew what it was.
  2. Have you done any scent training with your dog?
  3. I had to remove two caches after asking permission. I later got permission when the land manager created a geocaching policy.
  4. I killed a deer this morning. In my state turkey hunting is the most fatal season. If you are afraid of guns don't buy any.
  5. My advice to Admin. Ixnay on the WarningAy to me. Ay? I know I am a stinker, but have a sense of humor.
  6. I served in the Marine Corps for 4 years. I know a little about freedom too. I also learned a little disipline along the way. I asked permission from the State Parks. I got a no. I persisted and with the help of a bunch of other people the State Parks created a geocaching policy. Now the Arkansas State parks are a geocaching partner. (There is a link somewhere). I caught a lot of flack for my efforts including a considerable amout from [those] who manage this site. I guess they wanted all the credit. I am not surprised that an airforce lifer thinks tresspassing is a suitable practice. They don't normally have to get on the ground with the land owner. [Edited to remove offensive term.]
  7. I thought by definition a micro cache did not have trade items. If there are trade items then it becomes a smallish traditional cache, no?
  8. So does anyone have a recipe for leftover turkey?
  9. I think my objections to the moderators are well documented. If it weren't for this computer glitch, I would still be banned.
  10. Not a fan of puzzle caches. If I wanted to play a puzzle, I would play a puzzle.
  11. I don't think it is fair either. Consider this your last warning.
  12. There must be some mistake. I don't have any warnings. It is only a matter of time, me thinks.
  13. Spreading bad Karma will get you banned from the forums.

Thank you for your expression of confidence. And thanks, too, to Solohiker for starting this thread, which has sparked some useful discussion. -------------------- Signal says, "Drink the Kool-Aid!" You are welcome! So can you help me with the threads I start that are immediately deleted?

  16. My experience with forums indicates that regulars are the primary culprits when it comes to creating trolls. Or sockpuppets as they are called in this forum. The number of posts is an indicator of probability.
  17. quote:Originally posted by BrianSnat:But without sock puppets, how am I going to post silly threads, introduce controversial topics and flame other geocachers? I think admin has my email address on your account.
  18. Snoogans, Your Avatar looks like a sockpuppet and it scares me.
  19. I applaud the new policy to remove sockpuppets from the forums. I wasn't too sure what a sockpuppet was, but now that I know and I also know that a policy exists. It makes sense. Enforcing a policy like this seems simple enough. There is no reason for this to be subjective. I would like to offer my expertise in programming services to insure that no sockpuppet ever posts another thread. If interested, you know how to contact me:-)
  20. I don't check the stats of every person who starts a thread. Isn't that what a moderator is supposed to do? The rules state that sockpuppets are not allowed, yet evidently they are. I say moderate the rules and leave opinions out of it.
  21. Ok, we disagree. Not a problem. I am not sure what you mean about the sockpuppet comment.
