Another something that I would add is to not get overly excited if you can't get a coin on your list right away. I recently completed a few trades for some coins that I never in a million years thought that I would ever get, but being in the right place at the right time really worked out for me.

1. Participating - e-mail sent 11/8/2007 2. Received Name - 11/18/2007 3. Mission Complete - Mailed 12/4/2007 (and not a minute too soon. If I'd waited any longer, the christmas candy would have been gone. 4. Package Received!

I didn't realize it at the time, because I was overwhelmed by the Fire_elemental, but I just realized that the WI_robin coin is the XLE version. Thank you so much Robin!

Oh! Wow! Good things that come to those who wait! I got my Thanksgiving mission in the mail today, and it was the best package ever! I opened it up and saw this: Lots of funny thanksgiving comics, covering a neat looking book. I opened it up and what did I see? An inspirational thanksgiving poem on the outside of an envelope. And then I opened it up... A WI_robin set, a geosmirk, and a FIRE_ELEMENTAL!!!!!!!!! The Fire_Elemental was at the top of my "I'll never get one, but which I really really wanted" list. Of the first 60 caches I found, I don't know how many were by Fire_Elemental. My first cache placement (Moscow32's Nemesis) was a tribute to one of his caches. The other two coins were also on my seeking list, but I'll tell you, I'm very excited by the F_E coin! Thanks so much WI_Robin! You honestly rock!

You totally want to trade for one of these: Aren't they cute? They make a good spot in anyone's collection! On a serious note, your collection should be about you. I agree with LadyBee4T. My collection kind of started out with commercial coins that meant something to me (pumpkins, scorpio, etc). Then when I got enough momentum to actually collect the coins, I kind of went crazy and got a few more than I probably should have. Now I focus my collection to personals and coins from my home states. (I just snagged a really cool Utah coin in a trade last week. It's a beaut!) I also have a collection of coins that I purchased to release as travellers and then was to lazy to activate, so there's that too. But seriously, that fishy coin, it definately belongs in your collection.

I haven't received mine, but my mission contacted me last week to let me know it would be on its way, but late. I'm in no hurry, and since they were kind enough to contact me, I have even fewer worries. With any luck, it's in my mailbox waiting for me to come home...
