What would be good would be a map like the old one, but where countries/states that it had visited turned red rather than white once your TB had been there (or something like that!) and if they were zoomable or you could hit a button to zoom to the country where they were currently to get a country-wide look. Now that the Goodle Maps are just about sorted, hopefully TPTB will start working on this soon (crosses fingers!)

You can search for a UK postcode anywhere it asks for a US ZIP code, for example on the link above or on a google caching map.

Ozzie the ostrich was an old black and white cartoon character wasnt it? Eggo was the name of the beano ostrich. But Im sure there was another strip on the front before that. DING to Vodor!! Biffo didn't grace the cover until 1948 and Dennis the Menace didn't even appear in the Beano at all until the early 1950s.

Korky the Cat is corect for the Dandy but Biffo wasn't on the front of the first Beano (he was only on the cover from 1948). Ding goes to who gets the name of the character before Biffo.

Is this comment in jest? Zoom out and you can see it is in the Atlantic just off the Scotland coast. Yes, but once you've zoomed out the cache is no longer marked !

This is also happening on my list of found caches.

I think my cache GC16BTQ shows perfectly one of my problems with the new maps - anyone just from the map want to tell me where it is???

One thing I'd add to the new google maps is something indicating which unfound caches were new (ie less than 7 days old) in the same way that caches searches currently do.
