  2. That would drive me up the wall!!
  3. I had a long caching trip kinda like yours, except we didn't have bikes and we went the wrong way everytime. It all happend on the BOOTY BOX Cache back in July of 2002. Heres the log... July 28, 2002 by Cwlutterloh Geezz What a hike!!! Went to this cache with Sonoma and kids. After the long drive out there we decided on a starting point. We went down a road that dead ended into a boat dock. The GPS said the Cache was about 1.5 mile on the other side of the lake. We decided on a route we ended up takeing the long way around by mistake! After losing the trail many times for various reasons we were getting very tired and the youngins we very cranky. Lost the trail about 4 times, ran into 2-3 snakes, Spider webs out the wazzoo and have been hiking for almost 3 hours we decided just to F the trail and take the most direct route to the Cache. After finding the Cache we found a trail that took us strait to the road (Man I wish we had parked there... but we didn't) we still had another 4-5 miles back to the car. I decided to leave Sonoma with the Girls and run ahead to get the car and come back to get them. (Turns out my 2-3 mile run after a 8-10 mile hike went in vain) along came Sonoma who had cought a ride with a fellow hiker and drove up the road (were I was still running tring to get to the car) and picked me up as well and took us back to the car. None the less we had a BIG work out saw a Wild turkey and I saw a Deer run right in front of me while I was on my jog. It was a good Cache! Beauiful View from a Tower we stopped by! Took Travel bug and Bouncey ball left a stuffed Roo and Pooh and a Tigger sticker.

  11. Good Job! quote:Originally posted by TeamJiffy: 2) Bill, in a tragic error, mis-read the instructions for the new “Waterfowl Wildlife Refuge” cache. It instructed the finder to use the cache camera to take a picture of a small duck and upload it with the online log to claim a find. That has got to be the best one!
  12. I set mine out like a TB to get some miles... Chuck's Cache Cash

  14. I'm on the look for some new and interesting cache plans. (well at least new for my area, Memphis, TN) I'm all for the regular traditional caches but I'm looking for quality not quanity. There have been some very well thought out caches in Memphis that are great and I'd like to add some more. I'm just haveing a hard time thinking of some. If you have some different but interesting caches in your area that you enjoyed. Please post the link. Thanks! [This message was edited by CWL on March 17, 2003 at 09:48 AM.]

If I had thought about it I would have honked the horn and held up my GPS. Dur! Anyway... I saw the GEO sticker and the license plate thingy and that's what clued me in. That must of been me, Blodlizard! I work just down the road and go that way everyday... Was it a marroon four door Saturn?
  16. Heres another site. It has several links to alot of different custom made coins, wooden nickels, challenge coins, and alot more.
  17. I found this site. Their prices arn't too bad. You can get chips for $.10 each with a logo. $.16 with the logo on both sides, but there is a $65 setup fee. So you're looking at $200 for 500 chips with a logo on both sides. After looking around this doesn't look like too bad of a deal.
  18. A typical discussion between Davewuzhere and Maniacmechanic I couldn't stop laughing!!! This is SO TRUE!! I wonder if they have watched it yet?
  19. I uploaded it on "My Cache page"... You know where you uploaded your profile pic and stuff.
  20. Wow Markwell! Where did you make that cool chart? Was it off of a website? or did you just make it for yourself?
  21. With my new job I travel around West TN alot. I cover Everything in West TN West of the TN river, and down to Tupleo, MS. So when I'm fixing to head out to a far out location. I check the maps to see if theres a cache on the way. As long as the area is not to muddy I'm ok. I have come back with some mud on my slacks and go a couple of weird looks but my closest coworker is about 3 hours away. (I'm a contractor for Bellsouth) I've done caches as far out as 100 miles from my house while traveling to a Service call. God I love my job!!!
