Does anyone know where I can get one these, or have the info to build one.
This is made from PVC pieces, you can get at most any hardware store. The ends are bought as is, and you may be able to get some short lenghths of the straight piece and cut to length.
I know the parts are from a hardware store. It's the insides, I want to know about.

OK, I've had this one sitting around the house for at least a year. I've asked enough cachers around here for ideas of where to place it that even if I did find a place, half of the local cachers would recognize it on the spot. But more importantly, I really don't think that I'll ever find an appropriate place to hide this delicious little nugget, so I'm finally going to show it here. I found this gauge on the ground while looking for a cache nearby. I immediately recognized the possibilities (but not the problems finding a place to hide it) and stuck it in my pocket. Here is the result.

The secret (a nano log is under the red "button". Two supermagnets hold the faceplate in place.):
(If anyone seriously thinks that they have the perfect place to hide this, drop me an email and we'll discuss it)
Very intersesting.

That is what I do. I have to get several PQs to cover this "cache-rich" area. Using GSAK, once I have refreshed the database with new PQs, I can pick any location, or cache, as a new centerpoint for the database. Then, I load the caches into my GPSr that are in the area I am heading towards. I can even use the "Arc/Poly" filter to get the caches along the route I will be traveling when I head into town.
How do you refresh your database?

Are you using pocket queries. If not, you can create Pocket Queries and then you will have lots of .gpx files that GSAK (Geocaching Swiss Army Knife) can Export in the Mapsource format for you.
I was messing around with this and I noticed, when I export to mapsource. The waypoint id is the title of the cache and not the waypoint that gc.com suggests GCxxxx. Is there a way to change this?

Is it possible to download the cache info (the cache page) that is found on the web onto a PDA. Instead of printing the page? Would it have all the info that is needed with the logs.
If so how can this be done, and with what program.
I don't have a PDA, Can anyone recommend one for a PC.
Thanks
Eric
