Yesterday my mailman delivered happiness in the form of copper! Thanks for the cool coin FSM! (both eyes were 20/20 ) Here's all three coins together!

The eyes came in today. They aren't an exact replacement like I had hoped, but they are pretty close. The "pupil" is little smaller, and the "white" seems a tad whiter. That may be due to the glue used on the original. The diameter is just a tad larger. Here's some pics. If anyone wants some PM or email me and I'll send them to you. No charge.

Charity auctions are heavily regulated, so if your auction title, or description even hints that the auction is for a charity, they will pull it, if they come across it. Definitely don't use the word charity anywhere on the listing. I had all of my auctions pulled for using the word charity, but when I later altered them I have not had a single one pulled.

I bought a 300 pack of eyes... (it's all that I could find) so I will have some spares as well. Just PM or email me and I'll gladly ship you one or 10. What else am I gonna do with these things? I have already contemplated adding eyes to my other coins... hehehe ETA: The eyes haven't arrived yet, as I just bought them yesterday (online). When they arrive, If they are the same as the original I will gladly mail them to anyone that needs them.

I went to several craft/hobby stores yesterday and was not able to find any googly eyes that matched the ones on the coin. Today I found some online that look correct, so I bought them. Hopefully my FSMs will be able to see out of both eyes soon!

I checked 3 of the 6 coins that I bought, and each had at least one eye squished. I sent C&P and email asking for details such as what kind of ashesive was used, etc etc. I plan to goto a craft store today and buy some googly eyes to replace the eyes on my coins. Those things are pretty easy to squish though.

The moderators "owe" us a geocoin because THEY moderate the forums?.... huh? #1) They volunteer their time, ability and effort to keep the forums in line. #2) They have to listen to everybody whine to them when they feel like they have been mistreated. #3) They have to take complaints and abuse from geocachers all over the world #4) They have to, for the most part, keep their own personal opinions to themselves when posting, and keep it "strictly business" #5) They have to be the "bad guys" and ban you when you can't follow the rules. So explain to me again how they owe US anything? Nobody here owes anyone else here ANYTHING! So I guess the reviewers owe you a geocoin because you hid a cache? OH and I guess you deserve a Lackey since you log your finds on geocaching.com too huh? If you think the moderators around here owe you something.... then I think you owe ME for wasting my time reading that! So get busy minting your own geocoin and send it to me, I'll be waiting and I had better not have to wait long either! Edit: Spelling

Yep! I had to make room on my display rack for them last night. They are now sitting on the first row where the admin brick used to be... No sense stuffing them into a book where no one can see them.

With some of the reactions taking place over this coin, I'm surprised that the "geocide coin" didn't sell out as well.

Here we go again... Ummm.... I think you missed the post by FSM. It was not C&P's decision at all. FSM made the decision to NOT pre sell, and to only mint 250 coins. Now, if you went to the mint with a coin, and told them that this is your personal coin, and you did not want to pre-sell, and only wanted 250 made, but the vendor just went all willy nilly and did the exact opposite, would you do business with them again? Probably not. FSM made a coin, made the decision on how it is to be sold, and C&P did exactly what was asked of them. So people... PLEASE stop trying to balme to coin vendor because you didn't get a coin. Don't blame FSM either for that matter. Keep in mind that no one had the right to buy the coin, just the privledge of being able to try and get one. Just have a little patience, give FSM some time here... he may just have another round minted, but if everyone keeps acting childish about it, there may never be any more made. Just my $.02

I agree. Their servers got hammered to pieces. So bad that they couldn't even upload the coins to the site. I don't understand why all of the angry responses are being directed to the vendor though. There were only 250 coins for sale. First come first served. Yes, there may be a better way to handle the shopping cart, but these things only happen once or twice a year. Can they really justify spening the kind of money to upgrade the servers, internet connection and shopping cart software? 99% of the time, it runs just fine. If they spent that kind of cash today, how long before they made that money back? next year? I don't have the answers either, but cut them a little slack. If you got a coin, good for you, if you didn't, then I am sure you will eventually end up with one sooner or later. And to those people that are saying that they will never shop at C&P again.... I'm bett ing you would go there *right now* if you heard there were more FSM coins for sale.

I had a secret agent for a while, but a cacher was so kind to me recently, that I wanted him to have it. Although I do miss seeing the GSA on my display rack, I was rewarded because I picked up a fairy today.

Ohhh, rub salt in the wound, MWG wannabes I was thinking they were on vacation, as in wish I was there! Hoping to find someone who has one. New to this, can't figure out how to upload image. Either the coin has a misprinted tracking number, the code isn't yet uploaded to the database, or you may be typing it in wrong. Check the obvious Zeroes and Os, Bs and 8s 1s and Is. If that still doesn't work, then you will probably have to wait until after MWGB, but don't worry, Oakcoins _will_ take care of your problem.
