    Geocoin collection for sale

    Well, the majority of the coins have been sold. Instead of posting the newest list, I am going to go ahead and pull the plug on the sale for now. Some of you bought activated coins, and I don't know your GC.com name so I can't adopt them to you right now. When you recieve the coins, if you would please email me with your screen name, and which coin you have, I will send out the adoption request.

    If you have paid for coins, your coins have shipped. If you have sent me an email about some coins but haven't heard from me, I will get to you tomorrow after work.The same goes for those waiting on invoices. It's been a very busy couple of days and I haven't had the time to get on the internet much.

    I am resuming the sale in this post since I can't edit my original post anymore.

     

    Prices Have Dropped!

    I have my entire collection up for sale. This is only a partial list, and I will add more as time goes. Shipping will be extra, but I only charge actual shipping. NO packaging fees, envelope fees or anything like that.

    A few notes...

    1. The majority of these geocoins have been sitting in a display case for a long time. I may or MAY NOT have the actual plastic case they came in, and more than likely, you will have to find your own tracking numbers. Do not expect the original packaging unless you get lucky.
    2. Some of these have been activated, and if they have been activated, they will contain mutiple logs. I will adopt the coin to you as soon as it's shipped. Do what you want with the logs. I will try my best to list which ones are activated here, and I will check it once again before you send payment to ensure you get exactly what you pay for. I will honor any mistakes I make by refunding part or all of the payment if I send you an activated coin instead of an unactivated one.

    Taking Pictures of Coins

    My flash tent is a cleaned out 1 gallon milk jug with copy paper as the background. Set it in the sun and the pics are nice and bright with little to no shadows.

     

    Hope that sheds some light on it :shocked:

     

    I would love to see a picture of that flash tent if you have one.

    Missing Coins

    My motto is keep the customer happy. I take pride in my feedback rating, and will even take a loss of a few bucks to protect it. I have had only one geocoin go MIA (trades and sales combined) but if it ever happened to one I sold on ebay, I would most likely do whatever the buyer wanted to make them happy. I can refund the money, send something of equal value, or even try to aquire another like coin and resend it.

     

    The coin that went missing on me was actually a cointest coin I gave away in these forums. The winner emailed me a few days ago and still hasn't gotten their coin. I didn't have any coins like that left, but lucky for me they were still for sale so I bought one and shipped it to them. Even though no feedback was at stake, I still felt it necessary to hold up my end of the deal and make sure the winner got themselves a free coin. :huh:

    FSM coin

    Well I have had a very special event ! I was contacted by the Noodley one him/her self asking to drop a FSM coin in Florida to spread the Divine word. be it that my schedule has been kind of busy and not wanting to rely on excepting a coin in the mail I sent off the coin numbers from one of the FSM coins I had bought at sale and asked that it be activated and used for the drop instead of excepting one via mail, The coin was activated by the FSM , I "grabbed" the coin to be dropped this coming week in a Florida cache.

    Very unexpected in my mail came a Copper version one of 30 made gifted to me by the FSM, Thank you kindly this will be a special coin in my collection never to be parted with. Glenn

    Hand Made Geocoins

    Another option is travelertags.com. They will give you some free tracking numbers. Of course, they are only trackable through travelertags.com would not be trackable on geocaching.com. I used them for a wooden nickel I had once. It works pretty well, imo, and is another option for those wanting to track their sig items, or anythign else for that matter.
