  8. My ON/OFF button on my Garmin 60CSX is recessed, warn out and makes turning on/off the GPS very difficult. Has anyone had the button replaced or similar problems?
  9. I use "POI Loader" to add or remove caches from my Nuvi 205W. Just google it and download it. But, then again how did you get them on your Nuvi? GSAK, POI or another program?

  12. My favorite log of the week.... October 12 by Ol' Mossback (1683 found) I gotta get the hang of this night caching thing. I walked splat-dead-center into a huge pile of dog crap near the cache. You can probably still see where I slip'n'slided in the dark, grasping for branches and anything above ground to prevent my gravitation towards the odoriferous landmine. I managed to avoid the whiffy wad until I found the cache, then I happened to daftly march right into it a second time!!! That's right....#2!!Aaaaarrghghgh!! I was convinced I was on funniest home videos at this point. I signed a close second-place behind my favorite lithuanian submarine skipper and kissed this place goodbye!!. Thanks again for throwin some caches down in the hood TC!!
  13. I dropped of 6 various cards today at "Is This a Sumac? #5 GC24TW9"
  14. Congratulations, Chuy!!! Nice job CHUY! 12,000 now that's some big numbers That's 12k right bud???
  15. Mrs Map never gets excited about the actual "cache" itself part!! But she has enjoyed meeting all the great people associated with caching and the events we go to. Also, She never backs out of a great hike to get to a cache thats on my radar. Good luck!
  16. Exploring Bodie works for me. Fun place!
  17. Not right on your route but well worth the side loop from San Luis to Los Osos. There are some great caches in Los Osos and it is a lovely area besides. Then from Los Osos you get right back on Highway 1 near Morro Bay. Thanks. We could stay around there and head to San Simeon early in the morning. Do you remember any particular cache names? If you are looking for some awesome hiking with no caches try parking at Hearst Park near GC240JA (On a Mission). Hike along the beach North, then up along the ridge (fence line) and pick up the trail heading out to the point. The Trail meanders North along some great beaches that are secluded. It's not a official hike but my bro lives in Los Osos and gave us the scoop. We have hiked it about 4 times and enjoy it. Just a thought! Thanks! That sounds really cool! How long/difficult a hike is it? The hike itself is flat and easy and you can go as far north as you need to. We usually go out for an hour or 2 then relax on a beach we hike to. Usually some cows are roaming around. Some awesome views on the point. Park on the street so you don't have to pay for parking.

  19. YIPPEE..............LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are now on our Jeepin' list. can't wait for the first run! Congratulations Nancy............. The Splashes Thank you!! I'm soooo excited and still in shock!! My husband completely surprised me – he and Collin came home from "running errands" with a Jeep and said "happy birthday!" Oh my gosh…I can't believe it!! Then I thought, uh oh…how does he know what I'd like??? I've mentioned a few things, but then I found out he's been talking to some key people: the Splashes, one of his non-caching Jeeping friends, and Tom. Oh…THAT's why it's so much like the Blue October!! No complaints here!! I LOVE it!! Yay!!! I still can't believe it!! Looking forward to that first time out, Janie!! I hope it's more of a "green circle" than a "black diamond" trail to start with. Did I say that I still can't believe it??? All I can say is WoW.....you have a pretty nice husband and little son! I was suppose to get a treadmill for my birthday and I'm still waiting. Congrats! I know lots of JEEPers that will show you the ropes...you'll be in good hands! Have fun Nancy! MMM..... Toss up between a jeep and treadmill
  20. The pink ears give it away... Let me rephrase that. The one with me standing next to my motorcycle and Thunder sitting next to me looks so real. Just for fun, a comparison ... This was the main source image. And this is the final Yrium-card layout. What changes do you see? Source images used ... Most any reality is possible with Photoshop CS5. That is just simply amazing, Harmon! Randy, With your near-death experience last year I knew that I had to produce a good result. Working with concepts that Devhead offered and with Tom in the usual way put the effort in the win-column. The result has received terrific reviews because you're so special to all that know you. Don't forget ... keep on ticking! Harmon SD Rowdies Dropped off TNG#15 Thunder4 and Ginger Memorial #1 at Non-Poison Ivy, GC27FAD today.
  21. Had to make two trips to get all three cards but it was worth it... The Misprinter outdid himself (herself?) with the Operation card. That will be a classic to stand alongside the infamous Wonderwoman misprint! Credit for that concept goes to Devhead. Hurried over after work about 4pm and was very happy to be able to nab the whole set. I really have to say that this is one of my favorites. The detail is AMAZING! Harmon you do good work! Steve: Great ideas! Excellent work!!! Picked up 2 set yesterday! One for me and one for a cache!
  22. Can you get a little closer next time John!!
  23. Froggy sex? Absolutely! But wait, there's more to the story. One difficult find for me!
