  1. I'm looking foward to this. After months off the mountains and bike tracks due to illness, I've got itchy feet. I'm also looking foward to seeing a few new faces at the event.
  2. Fair play lads you've done a great job over the last while. I wish you would reconsider, stand up against that lot and show that you ain't going to be pushed around by no one
  3. I had a Garmin GPS V and upgraded to a GPSMAP 76CS. I use the V while mountain biking and the 76CS for hiking and geocaching.
  4. hang and cheese roll...cadbury's finest milk chocolate, an apple from granny smith, bottle of Yop, and coffee
  5. I know you mean well, but this thread will probably go the same way as the others. I do agree we should just forget about what happened, and get back to what we do best.....geocaching.
  6. if anything, all these repeat topics will keep me away. Same thing, new thread...boring.
  7. good stuff...i keep on meaning to get some of them, for my spares
  8. Well done Paul...and that great about no virtuals...fair play
  9. This would be better suited in the Geocaching.com Web Site forum, but I didn't notice anything unusual
  10. There was a recent discussion on this in the Geocaching Topics Forum
  11. people who log caches like this only care about getting their numbers up. i have been to that site and it's a beautiful area....that's what I thought geocaching was about...getting out and seeing the sites. Sure anyone can use google, and if i wanted could prob spend an hour on google and add another 100 finds to my total...but i prefer to get out.
  12. just tried http://stats.guk2.com/ and can't get it either. what other sites can't you access....if there's a few it might be an isp routing problem.
  13. You might find an answer for this in the GPS Units and Software section

  15. Download Flash Format and you'll be able to format the card. It's a 30 day free trail.
  16. i suppose it depends. I have a few caches that takes a long hike to get to, so if someone called me I wouldn't really mind. I would hate to hike 5 miles only to get a DNF. If's it's a drive by cache, I think I'd tell them to cop on.
