  1. Just a bit more information for you all. Ian and I are working on a system that will enable you to track the fox on the internet this time. We are not sure how we are going to work it yet but the favorite at the moment is that the map will update every 10 miles that I travel plus when I stop. More information will be available when we get the system working.

  2. I am having some problems with the BBC this time as thay are not doing so many concerts as thay call them. So visits to stations will be made but as and when. I will publish a provisional route in the next few days. Remember that I will be catachable at all times I am traveling. So I will not just be stopping at the towns on the route. When the numbers are published there will be a voice number so if you are near by you will be able to request me to stop and wait for you. Also minor detours will be accomodated if there is time.

  8. Geocache2004 on 28-08-2004 to 29-08-2004

Following on from the success of the HCC event last year. I have been working with Leicestershire County Council to arrange a venue for a 2 day event over the August Bank Holiday 2004. Following several visits to Leicestershire, I am pleased to announce that all the permissions have now been obtained and the event will be held at Beacon Hill Country Park in Leicestershire, on the Saturday & Sunday of that weekend. I would like this event to be organized by a group of cachers for cachers and those new to the sport as a fun weekend. As this event has the potential to be the biggest geocaching event outside the USA. I do not want the event to be branded by any organization. All will be welcome and encouraged to take part. We are setting up a seperate web site for this event and full details will be provided ASAP. Loads more information will be available on the new site as soon as it is setup.
