Just so you all know what is happening. We have out grown our shared hosting and are in the process of transfering all our data etc to our new dedicated server. There will still be a few glitches while domains propergate etc but we are working as fast as we can to get things back to normal. The changes etc only affect the stats system and trigpointinguk.
Thanks for your understanding while we work the problems through.

Just to clear up things there was a problem with quite a few packages that where sent on the 23/02/2004 It would seem that they went from my local post office and sat in a sack at the sorting office till I was notified by a customer that there poackage had gone missing. The Post Office have now told me that all the packages are now in there system and where sent on Friday.
I am sure you can understand that until I was made aware of the problem there was little I could do.
One last thing all orders except one have now been dispatched the one in question includes a shirt that I have to order from the USA all the rest of the order has been dispatched.
I am sorry for the delay on the packages sent on 23/02/04 but there was little I could do.

Now that is a very good idea. Consider it done.. The draw will take place on Monday morning when I have finished the North East of England.

The problem with the car was as follows. The Cam belt Tensioner bearing failed causing the cam to go out of sync with the pistons. The resulting crunch etc rendered the engine dead. It has now been fixed with loads of new parts. Just thankfull it was still under warenty or it would of cost about £1500 - £2000 to fix. I have been given one of the bent valves as a souvener it will soon be on its travels as a Travel Bug called "Renault to Go or Not".

Well folks,
I am back at the place I used to call home once. I walked throught the door and was savaged by the cats, who thought I was an intruder. Diane looked at me and said " you where only going for a pint of milk what kept you".
Seriousley. I have had a great time dispite the set back and we have raised over £1300 for the cause. It was a pleasure to meet such a great bunch of people. I hope I can look on you all as friends.
I will be finishing the event this weekend by doing the North East. The electronice will remain on till Sunday evening so you can catch me anytime till then.
Once again thanks for the support and I look forward to running the next one in 6 months time.

Seasider if Teasel can provide the technology and I am sure he can. (I dont know on the time scale as he is very busy at the moment). I am prepared to provide the hosting and bandwidth for it at no charge. We have plenty of capacity spare and I dont feel it will use much of either.

Just to let you all know all the testing has been done now and the CIN cache will be running from Friday 14/11/2003 at 08:00 for 7-9 days depending on how the route drives. All of you that catch the fox will be getting a pin badge a picture of which I will post in a few mins. The numbers you will need for SMS and voice will be put on the cache page on Thursday evening 13/11/2003. I hope you all have a good time trying to catch me. Remember that my position will be able to be tracked on the net as well.

In my defance I would loike to point out I am not a Southern Cacher. I just visit family there a lot. Hence the cache placement.I live in the North. For those that dont know where that is it is where we where clogs and is located North of Whatford Gap.LOL

The rocks are a special order item. If you place the order I will deliver them on the way round and put the shipping charges to CIN for you. As for taking merchandise with me I will not have room as I will have all my camping gear with me but pre ordered items I will deliver, and do the same with the shipping charges. Place the comment on your order to be collected on CIN.
If you want any special order items the order must be placed by Tuesday next when I am placing my order with GC.COM

Just to let you know those nice guys at Garmin have let us have a Gecko101 to raffle during the CIN event.Tickets will be available when you catch me. A free ticket will also be given to each person catching the fox.
