  4. I was out completing a multi-cache, which had the final stage on the oppostie side of the stream. I found my way over and made the find. I decided I wanted to take a short cut on hte way back, so I started to walk over a tree trunk which crossed the stream nicely. I began to second guess my decision, but with taunting (or incouragement as she calls it) from my wife I moved forward. As I approached the other side my foot slipped on the wet bark and fortunately I had enough momentium to get me just over the water. My thigh landed on the tree which hurt like Heck!!!! Trying to climb across the tree was an error in itself, but the real error came afterwards. My leg was quite sore, so I was told to rub my leg to help reduce the pain and keep it from bruising. I did, but it did not help very much. After a painful walk to the car and drive home, I went ot change out of my muddy clothes and looked at the blood covering my leg. Yes....that is right, I was rubbing a wound which I think only made it open up more. Happy Times!!!!

Mission Arrived! - 02-06-2008 The 2nd Heart's Desire Mission arrived today with 2 more wonderful coins. Today I received the Worldcaching 2007 and the Salamander Geocoins. I had seen a picture of the Salamander, but did not realize that it was trackable, if I had known it would have been on my seeking list, so this was a GREAT choice. Thank you to my 2 Heart Desire Mission senders. Below is the package that arrived today.
  6. I am surprised that no one caught on that it would appear that a perfect score would be 47 since 3 of the 50 are locked from posting. Unless 1 of the Moderators participate, 47 is what to shoot for
  7. I received my final package today from Italia, so all are here and now I need to go through my traders to prepare for round 3. This was a great and learning experience. Thank you everyone who traded with me. PSU Fan

These past 2 missions have taken me to the final send out day, but I was hoping to obtain a couple of coins on the "list" for my 2 missions. I was able to track down 1, and I had a 2nd one but it was removed from the list prior to mailing out the mission so I had to shift in a new direction. I hope that my 2 like the packages.

  16. Being able to see the Cherry Blossoms around the Tidal Basin near the Jefferson Memorial in our Nation's Capital each year is a sight to see. I am fortunate that I drive past them everyday while in peak bloom....it is beautiful. By the way the Cherry Blossom Festival in DC runs for 2 weeks beginning on March 29th, 2008. Hope some of you will be able to see them and hopefully it will be a nice year for them this year. Last year rain came and washed them out before the start of the festival. Good Times
