I use both the mobile app on a droid phone and a Garmin GPS (eTrex20).
On the mobile app I use the driving guidance a lot.
With the Garmin I sometimes locate the cache on the mobile and then plug the coordinates in by hand to the GPS in order to save cell phone battery and because the gps is more accurate and gets a better signal under cover. If I am having problems I will us both at the same time.
I don't see the improvement in the new search listings. I prefer the smaller graphics with more per page. I also was never able to get the site to batch download and so end up downloading my cache from the site to the GPS one at time. As a result I am fairly peeved to see the icon on the search page disappear. For me you have taken cumbersome process and made it more so.
I use the map on the site a lot to help plan trips, especially when I am going on vacation and want to plan what caches are near the places I already plan to be.
