  1. Hey Guys, sorry it's taking me a day or so to post my finds. Just got done posting a I have a Grand total of 11 caches for saturday and 1 from two days prior to the LCM (Woo Hooo!). I would like to thank everyone (You know who you are) that helped guide me in the right direction even though I wished that I could have enjoyed the event from beginning to end, but, there's always the next one. Speaking of, When and where is the next one being held? My fiance' and I are going to do a couple of trips in which one of them is to Missoula, MT. (Are there any good cache sites along the way?

Well, I hope to see everyone at the next event.

    Best Wishes,

    Wil Mc.

  3. Noob here. Who all is invited? or is it an open invitation?

Everyone is invited, WK02. Especially the locals!

You can just show up Friday night for dinner, Saturday night for dinner, or Saturday morning at 6 AM. Or if you'd like, just show up at the coffee stop (north end of the Lake) around 10 AM.

Ok, that would be great  I work 12 mid. - 7:00ish a.m. both Fri. & Sat. so I will keep you informed on when I will be showing up.

Can't wait to meet you folks.

    Best Regards,

  4. Could be any number of things. First, the coords have to be inputted properly. Then the GPS will only take you to the area of the cache. Depending on conditions, could be within 10-100 feet. Should be able to see what the accuracy is on the GPS. Then it will require looking. The first few are the toughest, then you kind of get a sense of how caches are hidden. Depending on the size of the container of course, but the best places to look are under unnatural-looking piles of rocks or sticks. Any little nook and cranny can be a hiding place. Sometimes you will go home empty-handed. Even the best do.

Ok, now how about the MapSourse software...Any good? If not, what software would you recommend?

  5. Ok, Just thought that I would ask seeing that I've hardly used it except in the last month or so when I tried looking for a cache here. No Luck so far. It seemed to me that my map, unit, or the coordinates are off? I'm baffled. Can you say "Noob"?

    Best Regards,
