  1. It would be nice if someone from Groundspeak could acknowledge the problems, and let us know what's happening
  2. This is perfectly normal on days with souvenirs. And now we have two souvenir days. Guess we just have to wait...
  3. I guess we have to go somewhere else now if we want to talk to ourselves...
  4. I don't get how you even got that published, the guidelines require the description to have the local language. But it looks like a nice earthcache! I will forward your request to the Norwegian earthcache group, and if nobody can help you, I can do it myself when I find some spare time
  5. Just noticed another bug. If I hover on the cover photo on someone else's profile, I still get the "Edit" button.
  6. I would love it if you could make the cover photo cover the page, like in the attached example.
  7. Any way you can get our about-content back? I had written text, not just statistics or banners... On a more positive side, I really enjoy being able to customize the cover photo. I just wish it would cover the entire top, not just a tiny part
  8. I had written a lot in my About-section. After uploading a cover photo, it disappeared
  9. Geocaching.com stores images in Amazon S3, and once the object is deleted there, it's gone. So since the image is still there after deleting it from the gallery, geocaching.com clearly doesn't delete objects in S3. So it should stay there as long as Groundspeak keeps paying Amazon... Edit: I know some people upload photos of the log to archived caches/events. At least they did until now...
  10. Can you make it so that you can use scroll to zoom after first clicking (anywhere) on the map? That will prevent the problem of getting trapped while scrolling past the map.
  11. I don't use the app, and I've always added it after creating the cache (on the edit page), so I guess that's why I haven't seen that it's been gone
  12. Lots of great changes But can you please consider adding back the related web page field? I've seen that used (and used myself) for mystery caches many times...
  13. Not a perfect solution, but maybe this can help you? https://thomfre.net/en/tech/export-logs-from-drafts-on-geocaching-com/
  14. I'm still having issues with line breaks being removed. I hope this can be looked at sometime soon.
  15. The line breaks are there, but they are stripped the second I click Send.
  16. The new version doesn't seem to accept line breaks. They are all removed when the message is sent, making my beautiful earthcache answers just look like a mess. Hopefully something that's easy to fix Edit: line breaks work if I enter them directly, but not if I copy from some other text editor. That used to work perfectly with the previous version.
  17. It's working again now, thanks! I actually prefer to just have the text always expanded for all logs, and have added that to my user script. Maybe this should be added as a user setting (sometime next year)?
  18. Awesome! Other than this, I really like the recent changes! I only have one tiny suggestion right now, and that is to change "More" and "Less" to arrov icons, like the ones for collapsing/expanding the different sections. Since less is more, it's a bit confusing now (the programmers will get that joke)
  19. The activity feed stopped working for me when I switched to showing activity from my friends. And now there's no way to switch back. I just get "We couldn't load latest activity. Refresh page to try again." Refreshing the page just gives me the same. By inspecting the network traffic in Chrome, I see that the server returns this: {"statusCode":500,"statusMessage":"Internal Server Error","errorMessage":"Failed to get geocaches; {\"message\":\"An error has occurred.\",\"exceptionMessage\":\"Timeout expired. 20. This is happening quite often now. Can we hope that this issue get fixed permanently, or should we just expect this to continue to happen?
  21. We will be dropping trackables (which we would have to do anyway, souvenir or not) to get the souvenir. We are finding enough caches to get hundreds of points, but since I can't log them online in time, dropping trackables is what enables us to keep enjoying the summer souvenirs. So thank you, Groundspeak!
