  3. What do you like most about challenge caches?

I like that they are something different and yet another option for us cachers. It's like a long term Multi but progress can be tracked as you go along.

What do you not like about challenge caches?

    N/A

What would you like to see changed about challenge caches?

That they have their own icon. Also that you can earn hider provided souvineers to your profile for completing them.

If you could describe your favorite challenge cache type, what would it be?

Family friendly, I cache with a 5 year old!

What types of challenge caches do you avoid?

    N/A

  4. We are moving out of MA to ME within the next 4-6 months and looking to have some of our caches adopted. The ones at Maudslay State Park in Newburyport, MA just off Exit 57 of 95 are very popular. They are as follows: GC426XB Haunted Pines, GC42c5E Down the Rabbit Hole, GC42PPW Cold Nights and Warm Days, and GC42T10 $2 Cache.

Please email Danno at danpugatch @ gmail . com if you are interested in adopting our caches. Any caches not adopted by March 1st will be archived.

  5. When I had OSX 5.8 it worked no problem then I upgraded to 6 and all the files show up in the Geocaches folder on my Explorist GC when browsing the folders but not on the unit when I'm using it. For me the only thing that works is:

Send GPX files to GPS (they do infact end up in the GPS when you browse its folders just not when you use it on the screen)

    Copy Geocache folder to Desktop

    Delete Geocache folder from GPS

    Unplug GPS from Mac

    Plug GPS back into Mac

Copy Geocache Folder back to GPS

    Unplug GPS from Mac

When I use it with a PC at work I have no problem what so ever.

Sometimes when I send the GPX file from the cach'e page and not the search for within so many miles it works as intended and I dont have to do the steps I listed above. But I just sent 30 something files and they wouldnt load until I did the steps I listed above.
