Hi,
I will be doing some walking (and therefore geocaching of course) in Corsica next month and wondered what I need to do to my GPSr settings before I go. At the moment it is set as hddd° mm.mmm' using WGS 84. Do I need to change this? To UTM possibly if I want to relate it to the map?
Any help appreciated.
Cheers

As a Premium Member you can run a Pocket Query which includes a filter for cache size:
Ah, okay, thanks for that.
I've not really looked at the pocket queries much as I didn't really get it when I did look, but I'll have another go now, cheers.
I've seen this Pocket Query FAQ recommended in the past - http://markwell.us/pq.htm
That's great - thanks for that.

Is there a way of searching for caches by size of container does anyone know?
Any help much appreciated.

By the way I've tried logging out then back in and I've also restarted my laptop too, but neither helped.

When I hover the cache icon on the map no information for that cache comes up at all, so I can't access caches from the map page at the moment (which is the way I do it 99% of the time). Was fine earlier - has there been any alterations at all?
I'm using win7 and IE.

Hi, not sure if I'm in the right place but I'm looking for a couple of geocoins and hope that someone here can help me.
The first one is the Best of British' (the one with Britannia on it) and the other is the Brecon Beacons oval-shaped coin.
I wonder if anyone can help me.
Cheers

I'm not getting any caches either

You need to remove the GPX file that is associated with the cache(s).
So you just treat it as any other device with removable storage? Open it up and remove the appropriate file. Makes sense.
Thanks

If you are marking them as 'found' as you find them, then you can remove them by deleting the field_notes.txt file (or something equally obvious, I forget the correct name.
This should remove them for you.
Is there any reason you actually want to delete them though?
I only want to delete them so that I use less space on the GPS, that's all really, plus if I've done them then I don't really need them on there any more (just in the same way you'd remove a waypoint that you no longer need). So just to remove the unnecessary clutter.

Hi, I've recently purchased a Garmin Dakota 10 GPS which seems pretty good for the price, however I just can't see how to delete the geocaches that I have downloaded onto it (the ones I've done). Any help would be much appreciated.

The problem ist gone.
I add the ending .aspx to the allow-list of Avira-Guard.
At first it doesn't work, but now, some hours later every thing is allright.
I don't know, if Avira himself finished the problem or Groundspeak, or waiting some time helped.
Now I'm happy
Hooray!

I am using Avira Premium Suite (actual update) and it still doesn't work
If I add Groundspeak.com and geocaching.com to the list of exceptions, I can see the map tiles but still no logs
Please help!
EDIT
After another update of Avira, maps seem to work now. For seeing the logs, I had to turn off GC Little Helper Script...
I have the same problem unfortunately but I can't see where add 'exceptions' and how do you turn off the GC Little Helper Script please? Any help appreciated.

After disabling the GC Little Helper Script, the Error Message ist gone AND I can see the logs again....
How do you do that please?

Hello!
Since today I got the error message:
referenceError: $ is not defined
on the www.geocaching.com website. The error message appears when I try to decrypt a hint. The logs are not present on the site, too. If I try to open a log it didn’t work.
What can I do to decrypt the hints and to see the logs again?
Thanks for your help!
I have this problem too!
