When you go to http://www.geocaching.com/account/default.aspx in the "Your Profile" box, click on "edit" to go to http://www.geocaching.com/account/editprofile.aspx Then scroll down to "Forum Signature" and delete it there. You may need to log out, then log in again to see the change. B. You must log out of the forums, not just out of GC.com for changes to take affect

Nice one, there are still some nice people out there (tho there ain't many of us left [] ) Now all you need to do (please)is post an "owner maintenance" log - to get rid of the "needs maintenance" attribute

It's a shame (in my opinion) that that list sorts by "date hidden" not by "date published" This means that if a cache has been hidden for a while before it gets published (this can happen for many reasons), it will be on that list but may well not be anywhere near the top

It won't let me it's sat there mocking me, (the IT guys are looking into it - I hope)

A brand new thread, for your second hand stuff

The accepted way to do this is to log as a "find" only once (the first time you visit the cache) All follow up visits should be logged with a "note"

As far as i know, your Forum title is only customisable for premium members (but i could be wrong)

merging the 2 topics, as they are providing info on the same subject

In my opinion yes, The log type fits, If you attended, log an "attended" If you hid it, you don't need to find it, so don't log "found it" (tho i must admit to having trouble locating one of my hides a few days ago when checking on it after a few DNFs)

I'm not seeing the "change" here. Hasn't this always been the correct way to log a web-cam cache ? -
just a quick bump of this thread

Additional Lopgging Requirements
castagnari replied to drsolly's topic in United Kingdom and Ireland
Surely a cache that required the wearing of a "pink wig" wouldn't be published as a "Challenge cache" ? (or at all) -
Moving to the "How do I" forum

Shooting is a little extreme don't you think ? - Our reviwers do a very valuable and time consuming job (for zero pay) and occasionaly a cache slips through, that maybe shouldn't have I also would have thought this unlikely

It's so easily done, I was out caching with a friend a few weeks back, after a coffee stop on a handy bench we set off to continue the series, he was walking away when I noticed his Oregon on the bench. I suggested that "It may be easier to find the next cache if he had it with him" I hope you get it back

I'm sure they'll give us Google maps back -------------- If someone ponies up the estimated $3 million a year it would to cost to keep them
