If you don't want to put the GC code in here please email/pm it to me and I will have a look at it for you.

I have edited the title of this thread to remove the web site URL, so as not to tempt people to visit it.
As has been mentioned in this thread there has been official statement about this subject in other threads and Groundspeak are on the case.

c:geo is not an app supported by Groundspeak, and c:geo violates the terms of use. If you have problems with that application, you can ask it's application developers.
Closing thread.

As has already pointed out advertising your new caches is considered bad form and is better done in your local facbook group/forum
-
I'm wondering why the OP hasn't yet used the 30 day free trial code I sent him.
-
The nearest active cache to the one active one on the island is 7.6 miles southeast (on a neighbouring island)
All the other caches that were on this island are showing as archived - most were by the same cache owner and were archived last month.
-
Might I take this opportunity to draw attention to the forum guidelines which can be see here http://forums.Groundspeak.com/GC/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=boardrules
with emphasis on items 2 & 4

Hi team tisri
Might I draw your attention to the pinned thread at the top of this forum "UK Geocaching Car Boot Sale"
Which is there for things such as this, if you have any more items for sale please post them in that thread

At OPs request

Moving thread to more local forum

I wanted to suggest LORGADH as reviewer or certainly as helpful person to advise. His/her (I think it is her but not sure) Area is highland but don't know how far north it extends.
You are correct (on all counts).. Lorgadh has been in contact with the OP and I believe the situation is all in hand.

I have a Tomtom via only got it a couple of weeks ago and you can load the tomtomgsak poi to it.
I'll second that, tomtom macro - straight to tomtom
-
The nearest archived/unpublished cache is a little short of 2 and a half miles from the cache you mention, nearest active cache a quarter male away.
I'd go with the "throwdown" theory.
-
Sorry .. I can't help further, as it has always worked for me.
I suggest you take your query to the GSAK forums where you will no doubt get the answer/solution to your problem.
-
I really shouldn't encourage discusion of gsak etc (who have their own excellent forums)
But install http://gsak.net/board/index.php?act=Attach&type=post&id=188798
Plug your tomtom into your computer and run the macro

Today a new series for Geocaches was launched by Caring for God's Acre. The series is called 'Living Churchyard' and is for any churchyards that are managed in a way that's sensitive to wildlife.
I'm trying (and failing) to work out why this cache is being promoted as "Today ....."
When the cache has been active for the best part of 2 years.
-
I was just thinking of getting a big notebook with the geocaching symbol on so people would know what to look for.
Nice idea ..... but ......
A traditional cache consists of at least a container and logbook -
c:geo is not an app supported by Groundspeak, and c:geo violates the terms of use. And as such should not be recommended or discussed on Groundspeak forums

The "Southern England" area is split along about 51.4 degrees.
With Me reviewing the northern part and Professor Xavier the southern part

Closing thread as the OPs question was answered in the first response by a forum mod'

No, no, no.... THESE are micros. Anything smaller is just geo-litter!!
While I'm sure we would all like to see some larger caches out there can we keep this thread on topic please.

A query: do reviewers rountinely check the allocated region on new caches?
It's the first thing I check when I open a cache page for review.. (99.9999% anyway - the odd one slips thru)
If listed wrong and should be in a different region It's less for me to do

I am moving this thread from the United Kingdom and Ireland forum to the Geocaching Live-Enabled Applications forum.
You will get better responses if you specify which app/platform you are using
Changes to the placing of caches/events in the UK

If (as you say) "The side events are for fun" then they still will be for fun.
Why do you need another smiley for having fun at what is in effect part of the same event?
