The new version 0.8.2.2As.7 for the script Geocaching Map Enhancements is available here. It also comes with an automatic update. New: [Browse Map] Copy coordinates from the Route Tool popup via mouse click to the clipboard. In order to copy the coordinates on the Route Tool popup into the clipboard, you previously had to mark the coordinates with the mouse and, for example, copy them into the clipboard using the keyboard shortcut Ctrl+c. Now you can simply copy the coordinates into the clipboard by clicking on the new icon. New: [Browse Map] Specify number of decimals for the measured distance of the route. With this feature you can set the number of decimals that are displayed for the measured distance of the Route Tool route. By default, for distances of one kilometer or more, one decimal is displayed and for distances of ten kilometers or more, no decimals are displayed, as was the case before these adjustments. What's new is the ability to always display a certain number of decimals from one kilometer onwards, regardless of the distance. This means that even over long distances, smaller changes to the route become visible. For example, three decimal places can always be displayed: There is a new parameter: Fix: [Browse Map] Right mouse on cache detail popup set route tool marker. Change: [Cache Listing] Feature "Check distance from here" disabled due to bug. If individual GME features do not work or do not always work as expected, help is probably available here. Hi @worrellsquirrel, I have another fresh example of the incorrect calculation of the favorites percentage. The new cache so far only has one single found log. The cacher is a premium member and has set a favorite point when logging with the new log form. The cache also has this favorite point. However, <1% favorites are shown as favorites percentage. Can you perhaps address the problem again with the development team? Do you need more examples or is there anything else I can contribute to the solution?

Moin, ich glaube es sind noch nicht alle von GS benannten Änderungen vollzogen. Insbesondere fehlt noch die Search Map. Zudem scheinen bei dieser Technischen Migration doch ziemlich viele Bugs Einzug gehalten zu haben. Ich verfolge das allerdings im Moment nicht mehr, weil es mir einfach zu viel wurde und Korrekturen in vielen Fällen ja auch nicht gemeldet werden. Insbesondere auf den Seiten Cache Owner Dashboard mit allen Unterseiten und My Lists mit allen Unterseiten stehen die GClh Features zum großen Teil nicht zur Verfügung. Und es ist im Moment auch niemand da, der ausreichend Zeit hat, um die Sachen wieder schnell gerade zu rücken. Das Problem mit dem Reset Button bei den Friends, was nicht Bestandteil der Technischen Migration ist, sondern nur eine Änderung auf der Seite ist, wurde behoben und wird in der nächsten Version enthalten sein. Du kannst diese Änderung vorab installieren, wenn du möchtest. Dabei wird die Version noch nicht erhöht. LG

Die neue Version 0.15.6 zum GC little helper II steht hier zur Verfügung. Sie kommt auch per automatischem Update. Mit der Version werden einige Fehler beseitigt. Details zu den Anpassungen gibt es im Changelog. Mit den Release Notes vom 26.02.2024 hat GS bekannt gegeben, bei einigen Webseiten eine Technische Migration durchzuführen. Diese Anpassungen haben leider zur Folge, dass fast keine GClh Features mehr auf den Seiten zur Verfügung stehen. Leider sind die dadurch beim GClh notwendigen Anpassungen sehr groß. Für die My Lists Seiten haben wir uns das mal angesehen. Hier muss fast jede Zeile im Coding überarbeitet werden. Alleine für diese Seiten wird uns dass schon viele Tage kosten. Besonders problematisch wird es vermutlich demnächst nach der Technische Migration der Search Map. Wir wissen nicht wann wir es schaffen die ganzen Seiten zu überarbeiten, sorry. Im Moment sind folgende Seiten betroffen: - Cache owner dashboard - Hide a Cache (Auswirkungen noch nicht geprüft) - My Lists, Bookmarklisten ... The second way to add multiple caches to a list at once should be meant by @Optimist on the run. There is no "Add bulk GC codes".

With the fat locationless caches, such as Let’s improve the outdoors - Locationless Cache, there are some logs with counters greater than 1 in "Great Story" or "Helpful".

At the moment only friends with many caches per day are listed. I didn't realize that logs would no longer be displayed in such cases. I usually don't even look at my friends' logs. Unfortunately, from my point of view, such a display makes little sense, as viewing the logs is now very time-consuming. But this point seems clear now, thanks. The friend who currently only has a cache has already appeared in my dashboard. This friend's response now revealed that he had indeed changed his settings. Great, thanks @werla.

Since at least this morning, friends' logs have no longer been displayed in the dashboard in the "Latest Activity" area. For found logs, only the number of the logs per friend and day are displayed. If a friend only has one found log per day (here from February 21st, 2024), it will no longer be displayed at all. Clicking on such an entry opens the search page for all of the friend's founds. To read a friend's log, I have to scroll to the corresponding day, click on a cache there, scroll down to the logs in the cache listing and look for the friend in the logs. Is this a bug or a feature to make reading a friend's log more difficult?

Ja, du hast recht. Obwohl wir gar nicht selbst diese Bezeichnung setzen, hat sich auf der Webseite am Template der Logs etwas geändert. Ist aber vielleicht schon eine ganze Weile so. Ich habe dazu ein Issue aufgemacht. Vielen Dank für die Meldung des Bugs.

Beim Setzen des Default Log Types im Log Formular ist nun kein Reload der Seite mehr nötig. Beim Aufrufen der Search Map wird ein übergebener Zoom Level nun nicht mehr ignoriert und auf Zoom Level 14 gesetzt. Loading a photo on the edit log page immediately updates the log without me pressing the Update button. I wanted to add log text and photos to a fieldlog. I have loaded a photo. Afterwards I realized it was the wrong photo. That's why I stopped processing and went back to the view log page to start again. But the photo was already there on the view log page. I would expect that a loaded image is initially only available locally on the edit log page, and that I can still rotate the image and add a name and description. I would expect to be able to repeat this with multiple images and to be able to change the logtext. All without having to update the log. The log should only be updated when I press the update button. Exactly, just like adding a log. Reproduce: Calling the view log page for a log. Press the “Edit log” button. Load an image on the edit log page. DO NOT press the update button. Instead, click on the “View log” link above. The image is available on the view log page. It's just a strange little thing, actually completely unimportant. But sometimes you think about things like that. I'm still wondering what's up with the cryptic name between the first photo and the photo buttons on the log view page. It seems to be the cache or TB log identification. Does anyone have any idea why this information is displayed with the photos, as if it has something to do with the photos? Or does it have something to do with the photos? And why isn't it displayed if there are no photos, which is the case with most logs? If this information is so important that it is not enough to show it in the URL, then it should be shown in every log. And if it's not so important, you can leave it out.

Wir wissen nicht ob es vorkommen kann, dass nicht alle TBs im Log Formular angezeigt werden. Die Angabe "Showing ... of ... in your inventory" legt nahe, dass es solche Fälle gibt. Wir würden gerne wissen, ob es solche Fälle gibt, und wie viele TBs zu Beginn angezeigt werden und wie man weitere dazu selektieren kann und in welchen Portionen. Im Redesign des neuen Log Formulars stehen die GClh Features aus dem neuen Log Formular nun auch zur Verfügung. Außerdem haben wir nun auch die Features Default Log Types und das Senden des Logs mit F2 integriert, die bisher nur im alten Log Formular zu Verfügung standen. Bitte beachtet, dass ein Log, das nur aus einer automatischen Signatur und Log Templates besteht, nicht gespeichert werden kann. Die Website bemerkt eine Änderung im Logtext nur, wenn die Daten manuell eingegeben werden. Es reicht aus, ein beliebiges Zeichen einzufügen, das auch sofort wieder entfernt werden kann. Außerdem haben wir die Seiten Notification List und Notification etwas aufgehübscht und mit ersten, hoffentlich hilfreichen Features versehen. Ich hatte heute beim Loggen meiner Drafts festgestellt, dass die sich zumindest im Moment doch noch auf das alte Log Formular umbiegen lassen, wenn man den Parameter Use old-fashioned log form to log a draft aktiviert. Ansonsten ... wir sind dran, wieder die ganze GClh Funktionalität im Redesign des neuen Log Formulars zur Verfügung zu stellen. Das gestaltet sich aber alles etwas schwieriger als gedacht, weil sich doch ziemlich viel Coding auf der Webseite geändert hat. Es wird noch etwas dauern ... 🙄

Scheinbar wurden bis auf die PQ alle "nearest list" Links abgestellt. Womöglich ist die Zeit gekommen, dass alle alten Verarbeitungen abgestellt werden. Sehr schade. Die Fehlermeldung erfolgte im Geoclub hier. Ich habe ein Issue dazu eröffnet. Teils können wir die Parameter im GClh Config ändern (das sind die Links weiter unten), um unsere eingebauten Links zu entfernen. Teils haben wir aber dafür keine Parameter vorgesehen. (Die Links müssen nacheinander abgearbeitet und gespeichert werden, nicht alle Links gleichzeitig aufrufen und speichern, weil dann die Parameter immer wieder überschrieben werden.) Es betrifft nach derzeitigem Stand folgende Bereiche: 1. Friends List: Show summary for new finds/hides in friends list? 2. Public Profile: Geocaches: Use old links to finds and hides caches? und Links für die Finds und Hides: Dafür haben wir keinen Parameter vorgesehen, schlampig.
