I have to admit I use the drill a hole and add a padloock to the coins I put out or I attach a TB and make a 2 for 1. Am planning on getting alot of coins released this weeend to join the Fox and the Hounds competition which has a number of catagories to it. Regarding the cacher with only 1 find, contact your local schools and find out which teacher is using the gps units with their students and contact that person. I came upon the same problem and that is how it got replaced into a cache. Hope you don't give up on the idea of putting out coins, it really is alot of fun reading the logs and watching your "clidren" as they venture out into the wild.

They are now moving "team" tags to individual email / owners so they can see their tags locations around the world and see a list of who has them. Needless to say those of us who have gotten them are hooked, I am anxiously awaiting the "birth" of my newest tag:)

Ah so if I were to create two pathtags I would only get one 6 digit # for the backs. Wait then why did I have to choose between the tag I found and another one? When they originally started each person had a serial number and they hadn't really thought about the fact that some would have more than one made, as soon as they saw that happening they started adsigning indiv. numbers to each coin design, you happened to find one of the earliest where you select the picture,

Man I love reading the posts of all these lucky folks , SoC I can just picture you trying to be the first to the cache, and I really hope the Secret Agent was watching Beverly dance, what a hoot , I keep saying prayers to the caching gods that one of these beautiful coins will show up down here on the Mexico border, I don't think I can jump on an airplane and get anywhere quick enough to beat the local cachers . Oh, well, I'll just keep dreaming and praying.

Got my mciros and boy they are even better looking in the hand than on the web site. Very proud to have already sent some of my state coins out into the wild looking for fresh blood...the colors are dynamite. great job

I will be adding some my Pathtags to the pile since he designed them for me. Hope the all the winners enjoy the pile of coins.

I agree with check with owner, I try to leave unactivated coins in really cool caches, and if the person who finds it wants to keep it fine, but I have had most activate it so they can watch it travel. Been surprised that most cachers have told me it is their first trackable and they want to set it free. Way to go.

I wonder if he is going to post a notice like most contest that relatives and "employees" He doesn't have any that I know of will be excluded...I have purchased every coin he has designed but since I am "mom" he may not let me enter Oh well, I will still enjoy reading all the psots and hearing about all the travels of each persons coin, maybe I'll help come up with more ideas for prize catagories

Wow, Received my tuit and Tempting the Fates coins, have to say I think the tuit is now my favorite, at least until I receive my Moun10girl coin ...also received my Alaska Micro coins cool blood in the mosquito design.

I just finished doing the same thing last night and actually took a mini recorder and talked about each one, where and how I got it and why. Hoping my children wil one day enjoy hearing the tales and appreciate each coin for its uniqueness.

I just saw a western belt buckle and thought that would be a great way to show off my new TUIT coin, and have a decrypt code handy, Just haven't found the correct size holder, any ideas?

Can't enter a personal survey note but boy after talking to some who went and reading and watching the posts I sure wished I had been able to go. Am trying to make arrangements to get to the midwest event, even offered to pay for my sons plane fare so he won't miss it.
