Yeah, we're burning it up...3 in 4 months! It does get me off the couch, which I need more than 3 times in 4 months
Wooden Nickel...I haven't heard that term since I was a kid, but yeah, that's probably what this is. The letters & numbers written on the back made me think it was a trackable item, and my son is excited to move to "level 2" in this game. Maybe I'll order a pack of bugs to play with.
Thanks for the help!

Sorry about the bad links. Suddenly, they don't work for me either.
Kulhal: They are very similar, but stamped instead of burned.
mpilchfamily: They do not say trackable at Geocaching.com, but that's the only place I've found that does trackables.
rrgoudie: Didn't see it there, either. Interesting site, though.
keewee: I'm not entirely sure how to do that. I finally uploaded the photos to my log from the cache where they were found, and so I think you can see them by looking at the gallery on my profile.
Thanks for the replies! Very encouraging, as most discussion forums I post to have lots of views and few replies.

I found this wooden geocoin in a cache yesterday, but the code written on it isn't found when I look for it on geocaching.com. Is there another place to register coins? Or am I missing something?

I was unable to find a listing that seemed to match this article - does anyone know which one it was?
