  1. I saw a condom at a Micro Brewery (go Figure) that they were selling. The package said: "Hand me a condom and make it Snappy" I thought it was kinda cleaver and witty! http://coloradogeocaching.com/ Lend me your ear while I call you a fool.

Here's the "oldest" 10: 82nd Pass (01-Apr-2000) Not sure about this one... didn't all this start in May 2000 when SA was turned off? And the id # of that cache is 72602. I think the date is bogus... I think it was assigned around June of this year... _Some things are lost, some left behind. Some things are better left for someone else to find._ Searched the profile for the person that hid that cache. Member since June 1, 2003. No finds and no other hides.??? This could be a second account I suppose. One built specifically to overdate the cache.?? How about some Admin. insight? http://coloradogeocaching.com/ Lend me your ear while I call you a fool.
  3. I believe there are a couple in the WDW Parks. Use the Florida Caching map and zoom in /identify at where WDW is. See if that helps Here is a starter: http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=13112 http://coloradogeocaching.com/ Lend me your ear while I call you a fool.

  8. Not to worry, Sarg. Get the Legend out and start playing with it. If it is Brand new, Take it outside, turn it on and set it down for about 10 minutes to establish satellite locks. The legend is user friendly and it won't hurt it to press the buttons and see what does what. As you press a button, look at it in the manuel, to see all that that button will do. You'll get the hang of it. Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  9. Don't forget your public Libraries. Most if not all will have internet service set up and you should be able to use these. (OOPS) I just re-read the post above. Sorry for the dup. Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  10. Right on Trogdor!. Good to hear. Thanks Sidewinder for stepping up and helping out! Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  11. CACHERS: Post your lost/stolen bugs, here. Have you seen me Need help from Washington State cachers. Looking for the “MCRD” Travel Bug. http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?ID=23760 Last seen at http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?ID=46457 It was picked up by Rubber Monkey and never logged. I have sent a couple of emails to him and no reply. If by chance somebody knows him, can you ask him to log the TB and send it on its way, or, give him to you for proper placement. Thanks Gang Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/ [This message was edited by zoltig on July 15, 2003 at 10:32 AM.]
  12. Send "SIDEWINDER" an email, he is the cache owner, and ask him to make a visit to the "Old Works Cache" http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_details.aspx?guid=f8d41877-2daa-4872-ba4b-2e51eda80c91 to pull the bug out and email you back the number on the bug. If you do not get a reply or if he can't, try posting a note on the cache page for the next cacher to send the info to you. See what happens. 13. Is it this?? http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?ID=2365 Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  14. Ok Trog. How about a little info. Name of the TB. A link to it, by chance. Place where you found and dropped it off. Let's see what can be done. If you did not log that you had the TB, you would not be able to log that you dropped it off. Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  15. Just a thought, looking at their profile, occupation "Trucker", maybe they are currently on the road and do not check email or web site until they are back home. Last visit on the web site was 6-30-03. Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  16. Spock in search of a woman so he can get &%$*(. Come down with a real bad case of the hornies. No GPSr, just the urge to spawn. hehehe! ------------------------------------------------ ... and what about Captain Kirk in search of Spock. Man-o-Man, what a cache container that would make!! ------------------------------------------ (Insert Star Trek music where Kirk and Spock Battle) Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  17. quote:Originally posted by Webfoot: As far as mailing, I guess it depends upon what you want to do with the bugs. I'm mailing a bug to a friend in West Virginia because the goal... I agree Webfoot (by the way, cool avatar. hi-ho )that if you are the owner of the bug and you want to launch the TB(s) at a different location than where you are, it is an option. I have a TB that I sent to the UK with a friend of mine (not Gromit) to be launched there. Mailing is an option that the owner of the TB should have or permission given by the owner to another cacher. IMHO Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  18. quote:Originally posted by Caching In:$$$ for a new GPSr, that will teach her a lesson she won't too soon forget! OOPS! Got to go, wife walking into room.....AAAHHHH...Honey, I'm sorrrrryy........ I just heard a loud THUMP...THUMP...THUMP followed by a very low, gutteral groaning! I am concerned about all the crying and whimpering coming from the North East. Just above me, a Flight-for-Life helecopter is rushing that direction. A primal scream is heard and the helo turned around... GEOCACHER DOWN...GEOCACHER DOWN!!! Quick!! Get me an ammo box and a McToy!! 19. mickey, here is a TB that has been on a B I G adventure that I thought you might like to see. I came across this awhile back (I think it was in a close by cache) and saw some of the wacky quacky stories for it. Check this out: http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?ID=43 Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  20. You can pick up a bug as often as you like and move it within a reasonable time frame. The idea with the bugs is to have an "adventure" that the owners and people who watch the bug will enjoy. If you chose to move it to the next cache or if you will be traveling out of state, is all good. If you plan a trip in which you want to take a TB and it may be for some time before you place it in a cache, be considerate and let the TB owner know your intentions. http://www.geocaching.com/track/track_detail.asp?ID=22438 That link above is my TB Gromit, who is currently in Europe and will be placed soon. I have been in contact with the Berkut via email and he has let me know his whereabouts. Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  21. Hello mikey. Typically moving a TB by mail is bad form. Is this a new TB that you own? If you want to send a TB by snail mail and it belongs to somebody else, email them to get permission. They may want a natural migration via caches. Always check the TB's goals prior to moving. Send a link to the forums? Have you properly logged the bug that you have. Quite a few people are stumped by this process for whatever the reason. Let us (caching public) know if we can be of some help. 22. What is a "Hoosier"? That question has plagued the rest of the world for decades. Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  23. Let them stay active. I agree with T-Jiffy. Check on them as you think is needed. I looked at you "hidden" list and all the active caches seem good to go. Lend me your ear while I call you a fool. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
  24. I had a response the next buseness day from Garmin. They will work with you as best they can to fix it at your house. Have you tried a total reset?? I believe somewhere on their site it will tell you how. Also, what version is loaded on your vista. Try loading the latest v. and use your cold start-up procedures. reset info: http://www.garmin.com/support/faqs/faq.jsp?faq=60 My hockey Mom beat up your soccer Mom. http://coloradogeocaching.com/
