Having Hosted Three Missions now, I believe that they have been quite successful. I don't think there will ever be a Mission where one or two packages aren't received. In the Heart's Desire exchange, there were 5 packages that weren't received. With 100 or so exchanges, this is an excellent number. When it comes to any Mission, the Host looks at those last few numbers, and evaluates the Missing Packages: A. The Package was lost in the Mail. B. The Package is being Delayed or Held in International Customs C. The Package was never Mailed. D. The Package was Received, but the recipient is Claiming Otherwise. A & B are general assumptions. C & D are accusatory assumptions. All are possible, though assuming, can be damaging. Participating in any Mission bridges the gap of miles separating one another. It allows you the ability to share your enjoyment of Geocoins, and perhaps if your Mission isn't "too Secret", it can offer Friendship. I realize it can be truly disheartening not to receive a Package, especially since there is a sheer delight in anticipation of getting it. As a Host, I fill in for those who didn't receive their Mission Packages. Sometimes People Volunteer to Complete these "Lost Missions". Kudos to these Friends! I agree, it isn't right for people to participate if they don't actually "Go the Distance" and complete their own Missions... But, I would rather focus on the positive aspect of the whole experience. One of the rules is the person has to have at least "30 Posts" to participate in the Missions. This is a very small attempt to rule out a New Person from trying to obtain a few free coins, without completing their part of the Mission. These Missions are carried out in general Trust and Friendship. We can only hope everyone follows through with their Share. Not Fulfilling Missions is Not OK. But, I'd like to think we're a Community among Friends. Whatever the case, The Host should be made aware of a Mission that is not received. ~Fluttershy

At this point, I think it's safe to say that 3 People didn't receive their packages. Though I know it's disappointing, please don't be upset... at least one was an International package, which probably is stuck in Customs right now. I was emailed yesterday that one was returned to it's sender, and then Shipped off again, but it doesn't look like it made it. No Worries, as I will make certain that you each receive a nice package... and they will be mailed this week to you. I think this was another successful Mission, and I Thank everyone who participated! I'll keep in touch about the PathTags... Thanks again!

Update: There are several people who never updated their status about receiving their package in the mail. Hopefully, you just were too busy, and received your package, and just forgot to post about it. There are a few people saying they never received a package. I emailed their Senders, and have not received a good response. I'm uncertain if the packages in question were ever mailed, which is disappointing, but I know circumstances sometimes get in the way of coins. With this in mind, I'm going to try to send out a few packages, to these people myself. If I have emailed you about whether your have mailed your package, and you have since done so, please email me back. Otherwise, I'll assume you have not done so, and don't intend to. I have received a wonderful email today from a generous Friend who would like to help these people who haven't received their intended package... I can't say enough good things about her. What an amazing person! I still do not have the PathTag art for the PathTag, so the end of March is out of the question for getting your PathTags to you, but please have patience. I can only apologize, and hope to get a PathTag in the works soon. I will update you on this. Thanks! Fluttershy

I hope you were able to enjoy the Ice Skating this evening, Pgh. The snowstorm headed it's way to this side of the state. One of my close friends is a Mailman in CT, and I know especially after his Hip surgery, that it can be difficult outside in the elements. I hope you have a nice weekend!

He was in VA awaiting a Pet Passport. (6 month Wait) This was to avoid being detained in Quarantine in the UK. Luckily, I moved home long before Rory was to move to England. Whew.

here's my Rory... I just brought him home tonight from his "Vacation" in Virginia. It's so good to have him back!
