I'm deep NE - as in near Gresham - so these westside experiences can be quite the excursion. I feel your pain, dasein....but have no fear of the Westside. As long as you can put up with the occasionally insane traffic, strip malls and random herds of SUVs - you'll be just fine. Just stick to the major routes...and don't feed the animals.

The good news is...I made home last night and got in to work this morning. The bad news....my head feels like a half-empty jar of Golden King Pickle juice. What a night though...Geocaching, pickled beans, PBR, Yam fries, more PBR, acrobatic stripping nuns on parade, even more PBR, and finally - half naked one-arm push-up contests....at 3am. Seriously though...who could ask for anything more in an evening. Special thanks to My sister and Bellemanda for making it happen....and to the rest of you fine folks for keeping me up way past my bedtime. Fractal....the ball is in your court.

Anyone know of an really easy cache near these areas? I have a friend with a couple of travel bugs to place for me, but she has no GPS and would need the clues to find it. Also, if I you would like to provide detailed information on a cache - so as to help her - that would be appreciated. Thanks...

When I discovered the memorial, my understanding was that Jenny and Tommy had died nearby in an auto accident. Certainly startling (and a bit creepy) to run across this in the thick of the woods. shop smart - shop S-mart

New to the Oregon forum - been geocaching since Spring 2002. Met up with 1pilot while looking for an Explosis cache (Can you handle it?), and he told me about the forum. Sorry I missed the Shanghai Experience. I've been meaning to check out the Portland underground for some time. Does Portland group meet on a regular basis?
