  1. Have confirmed by email color selection on the Maine coin. Also have started receiving requests for trades. I will start a list in order received of those wishing to trade. No trades will be considered until after our event. This can only happen if all coins are not sold at the event. Please also understand if a trade is made (only considering trades for other event coins), I reserve the right to sell the coin received in trade. Cachers who attend the Maine event will have first chance to purchase these coins. Oak Coins will not be retaining any for sale. After the event, if inventory remains, I will process through the trade requests in order received. Thank for understanding.
  2. One Copper Virtue left in the store - OMG - had to sit on my hands! This is my fav! Nicely done.
  3. Just love this coin - and the copper - oooughhhh - so happy I got the set! Thanks GeocoinGuy!
  4. I spoke with Bryan this morning about this, and what it boils down to is a previously purchased tracking number CAN NOT be associated with a NEW trackable geocoin. So, I have put the hole in the coin to facilitate attachment of (a laminate or whatever) proxy of your own ~J Intersting and perhaps why the inexpensive ? aluminum dog tag style tags with the ????? on them could have numbers engraved on them. There were no other tracking numbers on them. Interesting position from GS as if someone puts out a proxy which might have 2 tracking numbers on it - how would they know. Well. with folks monitoring posts perhaps but otherwise - it would just be a trackable with an discovery.......or whatever. I like the proxy coin and to add a tag (for a lost coin) and lock it into the hole with a beaded chain, wire tie or other device so there are essentially now - 2 trackables being moved/dropped into a cache is very nice. Thank you Jim for creating this coin, responding to posts, adding a hole/place for attachment and producing this cost effective trackable. Can't wait for the pictures of the artwork and samples.

  14. My best bud and I met in High School. We have been best friends ever since. The song which reminds me of her is Nights in White Satin by Moody Blues - which came out the year we graduated from High School. It was very popular and played at our prom. Linda and her sister have chased the band all over the US going to concerts. There are so many tales and things we did together, I could write a book. But, we have stayed Best Friends! This year we celebrated a milestone Birthday together by taking a cruise. She caches too and we cached in every port. Here is a picture of Church-hill in Juneau AK finding a cache - Another of her in Skagway AK and me at the same cache location Thanks for the cointest.

  22. I am not in this mission but I do know that Amaras coin was sent out from far away and a little too late for the holidays so it should be there anyday soon now. Has a long way to travel in the slow holidaymail. Happy New Year! grodan Karin Well, Amara's mission has never arrived I appreciate grodan Karin's post to keep us informed but the mission person has never been in touch (an email would have been nice - or a post). Just a bit sad someone else had to say it was on its way. The package has never been received. And, I might add I have never had a problem with International mail before. I have no idea when the package was mailed. I sent package mail to Sweden myself for the holiday and the post was there within a month. It has been a month past Christmas now. Glad Amara is little enough to not realize there is a package she has not received. To the mission sender - do not bother to mail another - but please contact me with the details of what you sent, the type of post (packaging and any detail you may know off a customs slip) so I may be in touch with the US Postal Service and customs (?) about the missing package. Thank you. E-mail sent through the profile. grodan Karin Thank you grodan Karin for the email. I understand what happen and we are all at the mercy of the postal service of our many countries. Thank you for your help. It is ok. Life is Good! Cache on - cache happy hollora
