  6. Saw the sneak on FB and fell in love. Very nice - hope I can get one somehow. May your first venture at GCF be a successful one ~ I am sure it will be.
  7. It occurs to me this coin has more significance than some may realize. We have some caches, here in our area, which refer to the Bricklayers. Indeed, there is going to be a Geoevent soon at their new home locally. A stunning coin for sure! This coin has an awesome design with significance which encompasses more than one interest. Congrats to all who have been recipients. Love the photos, too!
  8. The story today from Mrs. Jonesen hit my heart. I know and still remember my very first mystery coin. Happy this filled her heart and day with good thoughts. My prayers will go out for her loved one - so recently hit with the news of the big CA. One reason so many of us rally around Relays held in many parts of our countries. Today my hubby went and got the mail from the Post Office as usual. I am blessed to have him with me after his CA diagnosis, surgery, and chemo back in 2006. We value each day we are together...........well, he came home with the mail in hand. He always makes a big game of sorting it - his, mine and ours. And the mailers - oh yeah, he knows they are coins. LOL So - I spy the gold mailer. And he is handing me everything else. He almost seemed to know I just wanted to see that mailer. So he finally hands it to me.........the stamps are not cancelled and I mailed it to myself - he laughed. I couldn't believe it, maybe was this mystery coin for me. I hoped, as I held my breath, and opened the envelope..........yes, yes, it was and #24! This is a very interesting coin with the details and enamel. I absolutely love it and photos can not do it justice. Thank you - and clearly the gifter knows the importance of the message. Each day is special - enjoy it and live it well. Again, my humble and greatful thanks!
  9. Don't you dangle that in front of the masses... you suck! You know I'm kidding with you... HUGE Congrats, and I agree with TSUN... well deserved. ~J Way to Go Dr. Neal - very happy for you!
  10. Haven't been on the forums in a while. Sometimes life gets in the way. Don't think I had seen or commented on this coin - it is definitely a beauty! Congradulations to all the recepients. Some nice photos too folks!
  11. Is there are V6? Looking forward to this one.
  12. My Mardi Gras 10 Years coin arrived in my mailbox today. It is beautiful. Thank you very much to all who were involved with organziing this coin and thought of this gift.
  13. Can't wait to explore more about this............it sounds great!
  14. Should have posted the photos - here they are: Blaze and Trekker
  15. I ended up in the same boat as you folks. Oh well!
  16. Lightweight, trackable tags...........with a hiking/camping theme - now available here. They are called Camper Cache Buddies and are the perfect weight for your pack. The series is starting with a campfire (Blaze) and a boot (Trekker). After an event, I had an idea for some trackables and contacted a company to get their feedback. Being no artist, needless to say, I needed help. So - as may others have done - my lightweight, trackable, dream became a reality.
  17. What a story! Thanks for sharing!
  18. The coin I released to reach dhenninger in NJ seems to be hung up in MA. TB2VJ8J has been with the same cacher since they picked it up in January. Just sent them an email asking them to move it on to a safe cache ASAP. Hopefully this will get it moving.
  19. The Brewer ME event was a great success. 65 people attended and enjoyed time together to celebrate. We enjoyed the company of some Canadian visitors too! Looking at my coin inventory - all are gone. I did gift one for a fund raiser to some Massachusetts friends. They have placed it on Ebay for sale. I hope it does well for them. They are raising money to put on an event. Can't believe a 10 year Groundspeak coin is stiil available from Groundspeak and the bid is where it is. Ebay is truly a snapshot of an Economics textbook if you really examine the goings on. Here is our Group photo. This event was the first of 5 over the weekend. Many traveled from Brewer ME to Waterville and then on to a late night event in Portland ME on Saturday. Sunday there was another event in Waterville in the morning and a nice afternoon event in Augusta ME. Happy 10 Years everyone!
  20. Maine Events are changed! If it's up to the reviewers - thank you Maine Publisher!
