Opinion Poll! Well, I did look at the note. Cut from a great assortment of coins.......but what to do. I am not good at solving puzzles......didn't understand the hints. To hard.......well, maybe. Thanks for the cointest anyway!
  3. Clearly not a designer but I did have fun with this. Thanks for posting the template - it helped a bunch! The colors on mine have special significance to my family. They are as follows because I could not get my little turle any larger or figure out how to use and import the "real" colors. Sorry.......anyway Metal – Antique Silver Colors – Flames on both sides of flippers, compass rose and small circle Red – Transparent #2 (or bright red) – Gritty #3 (probably on Die) Yellow – Transparent #24 (or bright yellow) – Gritty #3 (probably on Die) Black – Transparent White – Trasparent Under Compass Rose Greenish Blue – Pantone #560 Body and Flippers of BET – both sides Black – Hard Enamel Thanks for the fun - some great colors on some of those already submitted. Good luck everyone! Edited for silly spelling error!
  4. Nice - arrived today - love them!
  5. Well, it's been a while - just have to ask as the State Fair is in town and I just took a ride on the carousel............and it wasn't a horse! Did any more of these ever come to life? Will they? Any word on this CinemaBoxers or GeocoinGuy? Inquiring minds want to know - or at least this mind................
  6. email sent naymlap only Drneal contact me - where are you?
  7. Your idea is a good one and it has been done - although not a lot. I am not sure of any out now like that. Immediately I think of Tools of the Trade (which was a Geocoin Club design) and there was one with two nickels on it. Am sure some of the others here can help complete the list.
  8. Couldn't you just write a note to the Premium page and drop the bug? That is how I have dropped bugs into events before I logged a find.
  9. Stainless Steel, Leather - this is by no question a class act offering. I just don't go to enough events to make this worth my while. For those who do events - I would call this a "must have" offering. Classy, quality and a bit above the ordinary! JMHO
  10. Is this the coin with the dogtags? If so, it was from Geoswag company. I am not sure if it is still available. I don't see it on their website anymore. You might email them and ask them or post to the trading thread in this section. Someone might have one to trade.
  11. Congrats on your wonderful find. Don't forget - email Team DeLorme and they are now allowing you to adopt this beautiful coins. Ah - and yes, a dream come true for sure. To find one in a cache - a moment to take your breath away! Sounds like you have one very awesome daughter!
  12. In due time, once I get my hands on one of these beauties - I will set it hopping.
  13. Does anyone have a baby boy theme geocoin for sale or trade? One of the crawlers, baby bottles or the like? Please PM me. My list is so out of date it is scary....but I really would like a BB theme coin soon. Thanks a bunch.
  14. It was nice to hear personalization was available at no charge but I believe the trackable at information is required to be a trackable on GC.com (so there should be No Charge). I too am interested to see the price of this item. Very cool concept and certainly won't be the price of the average coin. Wishing the producers/company the best on this venture. Will be watching.
  15. GSA has been doing this for years....it is common practice and not a result of the current financial situation. However, times are tough almost everywhere. This really is a two pronged issue.....one is the pure cost of pins and postage (it is now costing over $15,000 a year) and the second is the incredible amount of time to package the pins and arrange labels and get them out. This has been done principally by volunteers, but the load is getting too high for even them. We will look into the option of selling pins, if people think that is a good option. I think selling the pins to qualifying recipients is definitely an option. Heck - folks pay a bunch for geocoins and they are not "earned". Also, folks by the Hides, finds Geocoins and recognition pins. Same for the stickers/clings - that was a bonus - but again, folks might want extras - trade cars, etc. An sell them at a price where you don't loose money! For me - I support purchasing the pins EARNED and even paying a S&H charge (even beyond the bronze and silver level). If not doing pins, perhaps a downloadable, printable certificate would be nice. Thanks for all this program does. I Love Earthcaches!
  16. Great work - and nice photos too!

    Usa Geocoin?

This is not a formal endorsement for USAGeocoins - just to answer Desert Kat * Katdaddy's post. I have ordered coins from this site. What ? The little travel suitcases (very nice), some IFRM coins (again - very nice), some Christmas coins last year (nice) - and some of the "In Memory" soldier coins (which are pre-activated and you don't own). I have never had a problem with the quality of the coin or delivery issues. Some of the other coins they offer are available directly through Groundspeak. If you are in the USA - that is your best option for ordering. But, in respect to the vendor - Groundspeak does not ship/deliver out of the USA so this vendor is offering this as a service to out out of USA friends. This site is endorsed as a secondary vendor for Groundspeak ites. Always wise to beware of purchases on line. Just my experience - no problems for me.
  18. It appears these are all sold out? It that correct? Away at the wrong time............urgh!
  19. Well folks~ forgive and forget............ nuff, said. Each day is a present for me and my family. Some how, people feel it important to let me know about the ghosts of memories past and other stuff to keep resurfacing and to remind and find me. Thanks for the memories - I don't need it! Life is to short when your card is drawn my friends! I have some coins and TBs in hand. Don't need negative vibes on this website or any others. Have done my thing, paid my time, done some stuff wrong (as all may do), made my amends and will continue to cache on. Yes, all - cache on and cache happy - LA
