  1. I love well done graffiti, especially if it not only looks good but it is in an appropriate area (those areas that really are ugly without it and not something that looked nice beforehand)... but I do feel this is really REALLY sketchy ground. Found graffiti only is a very idealistic rule, how do you enforce this? How do you know if it is found or made? Even if you do find an artist who is somewhat honest and won't submit it himself, he could still get his friend. Even with this problem, you still will be sifting through a ton of artwork. Everyone thinks they are a great artist and everyone has a different idea of what good grafitti might be so i imagine you'll get a good amount of bad graffiti. I wish you luck if you get it. I think if you do I would also add the restriction of appropriate place. I don't care how good the graffiti is, if it is on the side of the Lincoln Memorial or something, that just isn't right.
  2. Yeah I don't know how bad the upkeep would be. I do also think it'd be cool to keep around even after a building is built, but I also don't want it to become overly full of completed buildings (after all it isn't intended to be a building directory). Maybe if that ever became a problem I could have a subcategory for completed buildings or something.
  3. This category would be in the Building category and would be an attempt to appease my fascination with big buildings that are under construction. I think it would be cool if we could get pictures of these buildings as they get built from the ground up. Am not sure what to do with a listing when a building is done being completed. I also think this should only be for big buildings because smaller buildings aren't as fun (nor do they take as long to build) so maybe a building of at least 10 floors? (I would say higher but I don't want to take out of possibility smaller cities, I personally live in Madison, WI where there is a state law that says no building within something like 10 miles can be taller than the state capital which limits buildings in town to about 20-25 floors at the tallest.)
  4. I haven't been in contact with them because I didn't want to bug em if there was another way to solve the problem. They have done travel bugs before (I am still new to this)... I assume they tried three times because there are three logs, but no it doesn't look like they have tried since the 28th... maybe they gave up. Maybe I'll drop them an email see if they have any clue what happened.
  5. My TB was taken from its cache on the 28th. At first I figured maybe he was gonna log it when he placed it again because I noted that he took it from the cache log but I never received an email and it was still showing in the cache. It seems the guy who took the bug has tried to log the take but it is not working. The log shows him as logging the TB 3 times, yet it still is showing that it is in the cache he took it from. Trying to figure out any ideas on how to fix this... http://www.geocaching.com/track/details.as...30-23ce6bfa386c Thanks in advance if anyone can figure this out.
  6. Been lurking thus far. Heard about the Geocaching thing via TWiT and haven't had the opportunity to try it out yet (didn't have a GPS receiver so have had to find one). I'm a student at UW-Madison currently. Just haven't had much to talk about yet, hopefully that'll change once I have more time to cache.
